- They’re one of the world’s biggest K-pop superbands, and their RUclips views currently stack up to more than 6 billion.
Recently, Blackpink played at Coachella where they continued to break records as the first ever female K-pop stars to take to the stage.
They were even spotted by Will Smith when they were ‘K-pop trainees’ in Korea eight years ago.
The band have worldwide appeal, but this is the first time they’ve played in the UK.
The BBC got exclusive access to L-R Jisoo, Rose, Jennie and Lisa, just before their first gig at Wembley Arena.

What do you mean they should have "let" her talk in Korean, the interviewer wasn't even shown talking at all, so you don't know that they said she can't talk in korean, and you don't know that they wouldn't have put eng subs on if she had. If you watch some other interviews with bbc radio 1 for other kpop idols, they have put English subs on when people spoke in korean, but she didn't say anything in korean so there was no point

guys, if its korean interviews. Jisoo will lead it and Rosé is the one who is very quiet. It just there are different strengths of the girls, and for this one Rosé excel on it while Jisoo trust her members to do it mostly since she can't express it well but she's trying her best.
yeah but for international fans like me in the UK often the korean ones won't have subtitles in English so this is what we have and we would just love in if we could hear all 4 girls in the interviews getting evenly distributed time to talk. They are a girl group of four people after all, it's not much to ask.

I’m starting to get annoyed with Rosé constant butting in!! I know she was very young when she left home and possibly speaking manners weren’t stressed, but when someone else is speaking she needs to keep that mouth zipped until they’re done!! What’s not clicking? That is totally rude, and throws the speaker off and is very offensive to be cut off while you’re trying to make a point! Maybe you share the same speaking manners as her that’s why you don’t think it’s a big deal, but I bet if your parents were speaking and you jumped all over their convo you’ll be told off!! This is what I mean by her leaving home at a young age and not getting the proper training on how and when to speak!

What you guys feeling I'm pretty sure she feel the same. They should definitely set aside 1 or 2 hrs a day for her to work on conversational English so that she can be confident speaking it. In the end it will benefit her personally to be able to speak a few more language and it will have a life long usage well beyond her career.

@@AggressiveAegyo obviously,,learning the language is different from actually speaking it,especially she's a pure korean who is born and raise in Korea. Other members is trying their best to teach her tho,but but gaining that confidence to speak without worrying about pronouncing and grammar is another thing. Still she's cute everytime she tries to speak english slowly slowly😊❤
