I take a look at my physical gold investments, a couple of the NFT projects I'm still invested in, and the Damien Hirst Artwork I bought a few years ago and explore where I can sell things, and the benefits and drawbacks of digital vs physical assets. (a little... :) )

I say talk about whatever interests you personally Tom. It’s your vlog after all. If you want to discuss a bit of crypto or a bit of commodities trading or really just anything else on the side that you find interesting in the trading space then put it in a video. I for one will continue to watch largely because I like your personality and your frank observations and analysis of your own portfolio, as it informs some of my own decisions by looking at things from different perspectives.

Thanks Steven :) It's the least popular by far out of my last 10 vids though statistically. People really only want to hear about eToro...
I don't like to invest in physical gold for the same reason: it is hard to sell. The commodity at eToro is better, but not perfect for two reasons: after some time they sell it and you have to buy it again, if you want to own it (can happen, that they sell it at a lower price, you don't check your account each day, and the price jumps higher...), second: it is cfd, so if eToro goes bankrupt, you don't own anything. The best choice imo is to buy shares of gold mines, that replicate almost perfectly the price movement of gold. As bonus you mide get some dividende from time to time.
It's lovely to actually own the physical stuff though :) But yeah - lots of hassles. I tried the junior miners etf at one point, but randomly picked one of the worst times to try it. My thesis was right, just way way too soon.

Bought the etf of SPQR up 8% since start month 😊dont forget loss of say 4%interest for say 2000 dollars plus losing 10% luckily gold has had bit bull run frank

True about gold. I've had a few heated debates about selling real gold with a couple of gold buffs and I know by experience you take a big cut if you try to sell it.
I remember watching videos by people who were 'Gold stackers' talking about how one of the important parts of hoarding gold was developing good relationships with physical gold shops so that if you do need to liquidate some of your physical metals, you'll get a good fair deal. I tried to check all the online services abroad, but none of them were accepting gold by mail right now and Malta won't allow Gold to be transported by international couriers right now either. Stuck...
I think the only way to resolve this issue to uncopy him, as I guess many people will do. That is how he will realize he made mistake by not explaining that to his copiers.
Could be - I'll wait a little more. Was hoping eToro would address it site-wide somehow.

You don’t want to buy the actual commodity futures. You want to own a ETF or ETC, that has the paperwork of storage for the metal in that investment firm vehicle. But then you hold gold for an insurance policy not for profits, so outside the system is brilliant. The gold to silver ratio is all time high so I’d be buying silver and ride ratio lower plus lower barrier to entry
I do have some physical silver too :) It's amazing how much it's gone up since i bought it - it's doubled.
Possibly the coin gets even more valuable, as now in UK they are introducing all coins and notes with the new King. So the one with the late Queen could be more searched for?
Seems so, yeah. (although it may just be a specific year or years showing the queen which are valuable)
Not sure if you can sell the ones you own but next time if you go to Turkey all the jewellery shops sell gold coins like these and they also buy from the market price.

Hi just a quick question about copy trading. I have a few people I am copying that have crypto in there portfolio and my copy isn’t coping there crypto trades. I’m in the uk.
It could be a U.K thing. Wow that's annoying... Some people said there was some questionaire they had to fill in if they lived in the U.K around cryptos on eToro. I'm not sure of the details, but maybe get in touch with eToro and ask if there's anything you need to do so that cryptos are allowed in your copy trades. (I'm not sure of any of this by the way, but may be something like that...)
You should get a plastic cases for your coins, unless you have them already. I dont remember.

Can you sell the coins you bought on the same websites you bought them?
Nope - there are some European ones where you could sell, but for whatever reason, none of them are taking international shipments right now. Not sure why.
NOW would be a great time to sell that NFT!

You reckon? You don't think it's cemented itself as a desireable NFT and once the eth bull dies down in the months after the halving, investment will shift to NFTs again like last cycle and there'll be an NFT bull again?
@@SocialTrading well obviously that could happen, and I don't blame you, if you hold out to see how well it fairs in this next bull run.
Personally I'd be tempted to sell the news and roll any gains into something else
you may have a point sir... It's a tough call. It seems to still be out in front as a collection and might seem a 'safer' bet to investors if things start moving again.
