Look at how different Howdy and Bo were with their gestures. They truly felt like two different entities/personalities even if they share the same body. I loved it. Not to mention the cool detail of all ot it happening in an abandoned Firefly Fun House.

Howdy's mannerisms were excellent. he has developed a thing with his gloved hand where he rotates his wrist that almost looks as though he is conducting. His body language and him smiling at certain points. Excellent. Taylor just smashed it on both accounts.
*The hand has always gotten to me. But that fact that the glove says Bray now. The way Howdy almost bit on his lip when talking to Bo. It was incredible.*
also the showing his top teeth, and the tongue sliding to the right - it was all so unsettling. Master class. I had doubts about Taylor/Bo before but not anymore. He has what it takes.

If WWE doesn't fumble the booking, and Bo can deliver when the bell rings, this will have been a career defining promo.

I’m invested in Erick Rowan, he’s honoring both Bray and Luke (Harper).

wwe have a history of trying to forget the past, I'm glad rowan has another chance in wwe, still shock though cause wwe tend to try to ignore what they have in the past and look for the future always.
It's gonna be about being left behind, tossed aside, kicked out of family (WWE), etc. I think this whole storyline was always going to be about this even before Bray passed, they're tweaking it since he died. Uncle Howdy is the one that will interview everyone as the "therapist". We're gonna hear about Harper and Bray with Rowan, we're gonna hear about Nikki Cross being tossed aside by Alexa, Gacy being let go, Lumis being given nothing, etc. Their whole story is gonna be about going after people who have turned on family, which is easy in WWE because you always have people turning heel so the possibilities are endless.
I was thinking the same as matt, having howdy interview them all would be cool,as long as it doesn't take weeks

People forget how good of an in ring wrestler taylor actually is because when he came to the main roster vince always booked him as a comedic character. He will 100% deliver in the ring, hes even been hitting the gym so you know hes taking it serious

I felt like it wasn't just bo Dallas that night when I was watching there was more then one moment I felt bray wyatt energy from it and some things sounded just like him I kind started to tear up a little it gave me goosebumps
I know I swore there were multiple times he sounded like Bray as well
Assuming Howdy interviews the other characters, I'd want him to be interviewing both the characters and the wrestlers behind the masks. Maybe even show conflict between the masked and unmasked personalities as the wrestlers struggle to fight off the influence of what has possessed them. Bo/Howdy both should be fully committed to the cause. The others? I'd like to see more going on with them.
The production value and Bo's acting were mind blowing. It reminded me of Negan arguing with himself but this was embracing the monster instead of rejecting it. Gripping. Uncomfortable. Easy to follow. Easy to empathize with. A blurring of real life and storytelling. And damn, Bo. Damn. I watched that Promo over and over.
Matt is absolutely right. Each member of the Sick6 should do interviews with Uncle Howdy explaining Bray's influence on them and talking about their motivations. If it wouldn't be too heart rending for him, I think Rowan should also talk about the loss of his Wyatt Family brother "Luke Harper" as well. Really make the audience feel their pain and show why they've come back to "Finish the story" that Bray was trying to tell.
we got the Texas Chainsaw MASSACRE debut last week, we get the Jigsaw reference tonight with the VHS Tape title "Play Me", I just realized that the VHS tape from uncle howdy/ Bo Dallas is referencing the movie "split" (multiple personalities).. he is referencing thriller/ horror type movies in everything they have done so far!!! Keep that in mind everyone!!!

If your a wrestling fan and didn't get chills from watching that vignette there is something wrong with you it was amazing and bone-chilling at the same time. Especially when UH asks Taylor how did you feel when your brother died.
This reminded me of the famous Mick Foley Jim Ross sit down interviews. Brilliant stuff
Uncle Howdy interviewing each character gives me Hannibal lector vibes and I loooooove it.
My favorite thing to pick up on was the more agitated and fired up Taylor got, Howdy smiled
I'm interested to see where this goes for Bo/Uncle Howdy. It's crazy going from this "inspirational" character when he did his WWE debut to the Miztourage to Uncle Howdy. Watching that interview glued me to my seat for four minutes.

I agree. Keep it just to Bo doing the talking. Bray always spoke for Harper and Rowan. If Bo can show that’s his standard, and not just a one off. Sky’s the limit. Bo can definitely go in the ring.

I think each character needs a different style of "why are you" interview.
Maybe Gable's looking for AA, stumbles into a locker room where Nikki is just staring at a glitching screen showing Bray's matches while she cries and ignores Gable. Have Howdy appear in the mirror and "beckon" to her and she follows after him.
Have a video where the costume is on the ring post in the performance center while Lumis is, sans getup, training with some scrub while Howdy keeps saying "faster. harder. be more" and Lumis just obliterates the guy.
I don't know Gacy well enough. Maybe he gets the sit-down interview with Howdy that Matt suggested?
Last one has to be Rowan though, and that's the easiest. He's standing in a mirror. Harper and Bray are there, then they turn into tombstones. Glitchy back and forth. Finally, they turn into tombstones permanently and he puts on the bunny mask.
Now all you need is for someone (Jey Uso?) to "disrespect" Bray's legacy and you've got yourself a violent and vicious beatdown leading Jey to need a "team" at survivor series. Wyatts go 5-0 on that one before we even start to bring in Alexa.
My fantasy booking anyway.
Berlin gets a "survivor series" match btw - it's just slightly over a year after Bray's death.
Giving talent some freedom with creativity can work wonders. This was a fantastic promo I really am intrigued to see Bo evolve and carry on his brother's legacy.
Indeed, such a great kick off for the character.
What they really need to keep in mind is that people dealing with their own personal demons, fighting to keep control of themselfs from the voices telling them to give in and eventually doing so, are far more scarier than going the horror/paranormal route with this. People at their lowest of lows are terrifying and unpredictable and I hope that's the road they go down with this also because this is so emotionally charged with the passing of Bray.
Uncle Howdy should be dangerous, alluring and manipulative just like the Jeff Goldblum horror character of Mr. Frost.
I think they should absolutely lean into the psychological horror aspect similar to M. Knight Shymalan movies, similar to his film, Split. That would be cool in my opinion.
Uncle Howdy the "Dark Psychologist" or "Dark Therapist" is a very interesting idea.
Such perfect Tyler Durden portrayal. Which makes sense to have Howdy do the interviews down the line but the characters all treat Bo exactly the same as they do Howdy, since it's one in the same. That also eliminates the ethereal / supernatural problem.
Taylor’s promo as Uncle Howdy was great.

For me, I enjoy the spooky, smoky elements, but I do hope they don't overdo it. They way they are doing it now is perfect, in my opinion. And I definitely want this to be a really slow burn, gradual kind of story and character build. I don't even need to see these people wrestling for a long, long time. Just give me a little bit about each member and their motivations piece by piece so I can come to know and maybe relate to them in different ways and really invest myself into each of them and the group as a whole. Thus far, I'm absolutely loving it.

I sorta agree with the interviewing the characters in however way they decide to. However, does this mean we are dropping the Dexter not speaking gimmick then? Are we going to acknowledge that if he drops it or just go on as if this is a new character?
Everyone so worried how it gonna be in the ring what if bo Dallas uncle howdy brought back the hard-core belt having them type of matches
have howdy do the interviews of the rest of the group as a showing of how he set them free
I think they should do flashback style vignettes to explain the others' reason for joining Howdy. Make it cinematic.

I would explain Rowan's backstory next, and probably establish Bo and him as the leaders, which they are, then go about explaining the others.
Sister Abigail / Nikki Cross is important too, well all of them, but I think you get my point.

Why not Bo Dallas in the other masks as he is asking questions to the other characters. That way they are answering to their alter egos but it was really Uncle Howdy behind all of them since he is the one that set them free. AND THAT IS...if their non fun house versions can actually speak. Since they are going total opposite of what they were in the fun house (rabbit was small and is now the largest of the group) maybe the fact they sopke in the funhouse means they won't now and just be soldiers to Uncle Howdy's vision.
There's alot of talk about can Bo get over? B team was over, BoLieve was over. He constantly turned chicken shit into chicken salad. I hope they let him just cook!
WWE probably figured if Cody can go from stardust to present then why not Bo?
With the crossover between TNA and NXT, Could Broken Matt show up on NXT, and Have an Interaction with Uncle Howdy, to affirm the connection to Bray? Would make Excellent TV.

How comes off to me as some kind of creepy circus ringmaster. From what I have seen he appears to value truth in both the spoken word and in the way you live your life. Revel in who you are. Perhaps this could be a commentary on the Fiend gimmick wherein Bray mentally separated himself from his inner darkness and Howdy was there to pull the two back together, thus explaining his hostility to Bray. 'Stop lying to yourself, you are not a children's TV show host, you are a monster. Revel in what you are.' That's my guess as to where the Howdy story might have gone if what happened didn't happen.

I LOVED Nikki Cross walking out of a side door and disappearing.
I feel every Wyatt story and gimmick became a little stale towards the end. And that might be due to the sci-fi or paranormal elements to them. Like you said, it’s important they keep that thriller aspect to all this and bringing more meaning to their motives. It will be very interesting to see the long term storytelling and where exactly this is going to lead to.

With one of the most unrealistic wrestling gimmicks on the roster, wrestling and its promos never felt so real until that promo, because it was real. Amazing segment

Regarding Nikki/Abby's crawling, not that she isn't insanely creepy right now, but I honestly think she'd be way creepier if she just instead stood there staring at the person or walked towards them like she was catatonic, similar to how she was acting a few months ago. That's kinda what she did when she handed the tape to Cole and walked out through the crowd anyway. That sorta mannerism especially with the mask she has now would be incredibly unsettling, and would also be a "less is more" type situation. I'd save the crawling for when she's in a match or when the sicks are making their entrance!

It’s all amazing but a couple issues here and keep in mind. I’m a huge Wyatt universe fan number one. Why are they attacking Chad Gable? Chad Gable is nothing but a comedy act fine then they attack Chad Gable and he shows up the following week like if nothing happened couldn’t even sell the attack. I have an issue with that number two the Pat McAfee box with his name on it the contents of the box were amazing, but the fact that his name is on their pat, McAfee is associated with a comedy act as well, so I just don’t like some of the things they’re doing here, but hey, who am I
How is Chad Gable a comedy character? He was a legit contender for the IC title. He’s no comedy character. I wouldn’t say Pat is a comedy character either he’s just a commentator. And he wasn’t on TV this week due to a personal matter so we won’t get more on that till he’s back.

I would say Chad is an upper mid card wrestler. That’s someone to be taken seriously. I would assume they don’t want Wyatt Sicks taking on people that would harm the group. Like you don’t want Drew or Seth or Gunther or the Judgment Day involved yet since they have storylines setup. Chad would be the next best option.

Matt should do this on his own or with Jeff, this idea of wrestling personality doing podcast with random civilian is overplayed and only works for Cornette.
I agree that they should focus more on the psychological aspect of the characters rather than supernatural. The more psychological it is, the more it’ll induce fear into their targets. A good example would be Scarecrow from DC. He’s a trained psychologist who uses fear against his enemies. Uncle Howdy could use that against his enemies.

I think that the most important thing about the future is that Taylor is a better wrestler that his brother was. At least in my opinion. That was the problem with windham. He couldn’t capitalize great storytelling, and great promos with good matches. I think Taylor can and he proved it before many times. So yeah after this interview, I am totally convinced now 👏

The Fiend worked in the ring. less in ring work, Instead psychological and mind games. Vince and bruce ruined the Fiend at hell in a cell with stupid red lights. Them having a mask will work as long as it's breathable and light. Look at kane and mankind, They wore a mask in the ring and they look silly when they wrestled. Why are you not crying about that???
I would hope that Bo has improved as a wrestler. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors.
