Those Kayaks were very high-end workstations. Back in the day they were very desirable. I wouldn't mind finding an old Kayak tower myself.

Let us see the Garage. How is that Trailer working out? Been anywhere on vacation? How is Life treating You? Why would drilling holes in the board render it useless, could an i guess i t repair person fix it? I wish I could get my hands on more PCs. Those oldies are laid out quite different then the new ones. I have way too much to learn when it comes to ewaste though. Happy Scrapping.

how often do you pay for ewaste pickups? I have a PC store that has an ad for $100 for a pretty good bit of computers and loose motherboards, ram, graphics cards. I'm not against paying, but $100 seems high to pay someone else just to pick up junk from them. This would be my first real pick up, so I'm just trying to gauge.
you shouldn't be paying unless you can get a decent return on it. The usual deal is you pick it up for free and you process it to cover the cost of collection and disposal. Unless you know you'll be making a decent amount from it, tell the guy to kick rocks.
@@Fanta.... yeah I was gonna massively low ball him to like $20 or something. I had previously messaged him on another ad, saw he owned a PC store so I just messaged and told him I'd be willing to haul off any scrap he may have in the future. The ad for the scrap was from that same guy, so he's probably just trying to take advantage of the fact someone said they were interested in something like that. Kinda pathetic.
