I think its bc paul is a good character overall has everything you want in a top tier list and more than that even after the nerfs he’s still good and evades a lot of attacks coming his way.
@@whbig1848 Timing is also key. Paul's window of crushes and evasiveness aren't as big as other characters but can mean the difference between some hefty damage or self-inflicted pain.
@@fartmaster--po4ti I dont think so, you'd need some evidence to back that up. The move isn't THAT slow and it's also a safe, mid, homing, ch launcher that can wallsplat from good angles. The closest example is Geese (also a top tier), who I would argue has a better version, and then Claudio, who doesn't get the ch launcher - and those 2 are also god moves. After that, the closest I could think of would be Nina and Akuma, whose versions are significantly slower. And those 5 characters have similar moves doesn't quite equal "many characters having something similar," unless the word "similar" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here...

@@UltimateBallaPOM usually if a player in ranked is at a high rank with little wins its because they won most of their matches. Think getting to tgp with 100 wins vs it taking 1000 wins to get there.
