My dad had his hand on the remote, ready to turn the game off. My stepmom reminded him that we always watch games to the end. Boy, did she save us on that one 😂
I'll never forget it was sitting on my couch with my now wife watching it live. First text I got was 10 seconds later from my brother. That was for grandpa is all it said. He was a diehard vikings fan who we sadly lost to pancreatic cancer that year. Still gives me chills watching this. Sadly next game vs eagles didn't go great and we didn't get our home superbowl in Minneapolis but that moment was truly special.
So sorry for your loss i lost my grandfather just 2 years ago and I’ll never forget the last Steelers game he ever watched. They beat the seahawks in overtime l. I remember him being on his deathbed telling me how much he loved me. I wish I could bring him back and people spend time with your family don’t waste time playing video games and stuff spend time with the people you love dearest. At some point they will be gone.
I'm a Patriots fan but Drew Brees is one of my favorite players of all time. Therefore, I supported the Saints a lot. And I was in utter shock and tears. Drew Brees deserved more. 😢
Brees was a fun player to watch. Sean Peyton was one of the best offensive play callers I've ever seen. There were times that it seemed nearly every play was a trick play, because the plays were so unpredictable. Certain things about Drew personally and the Saints eventually made me not like them at all. It's been so long I can't even remember what those things were though 😂. One thing I did hate was seeing the Saints beat Peyton and the Colts in the SB. 😂

Peyton still made it to 4 SBs and won 2 of them. Plus, usually Peyton had to carry his entire team. It was the years that Peyton didn't have to do everything that he went to the SBs. As an example, the Colts could have went 16-0 one year, but tested their starters and lost the 2 games they rested their starters. The next year, the same team, went 2-14 without Peyton and were lucky to win the 2 games they did win.
I was at work, repeatedly updating the score losing hope, then suddenly, A TOUCHDOWN?!?! Instantly search up live footage and got to see the replay. I remember jumping out of my chair and screaming and everyone looking at me like “what in the hell?”. Craziest turn of emotions ever.

Watched this live. Was a hype moment. As an Eagles fan I felt more confident playing the Vikings over the Saints that year and was ecstatic they pulled that off. Regardless it was really a memorable play in football history.

After the Saints got the go ahead field goal, I slid off the couch to my knees on the living room floor, sitting in a slumped over position till the end. This compressed my lungs and limited oxygen intake. When the Minneapolis Miracle happened, I sprang to my feet, thrust my arms straight up, let out a huge victory roar, and promptly passed out! Woke up to my wife and son cheering. Good times! =D

I forever will remember this moment, my dad and my brother were on our feet, thinking we were defeated and yet another playoff season ended in the Vikings chase for the Super Bowl. Once diggs caught the ball and that saints player damn near fainted in front of his eyes, we were all stunned.
