Some of my favorite funny story songs: The Winner by Bobby Bare, The Day I Jumped From Uncle Harvey's Plane by Roger Miller, Classified by C. W. McCall, The Little Lady Preacher by Tom T. I have always liked Uneasy Rider. I think partially because one night thirty some years ago I had an experience in my life that I could relate to that song. I wasn't driving a chevy but was driving a very fast 68' Pontiac Firebird and that car is why the guys pursuing me from a local bar didn't get a hold of me.

It's about God talking to a guy(Ray Stevens) about why he doesn't go to Church, tithes, pray, etc. & the guy keeps making excuses for himself.

I did and it is a good song. I learn more and more doing these videos and especially that South Africa makes some good country music. That song has a popish flavor to it but probably more country than some "country" songs released today.
