Got my HonsVR lenses yesterday and they are amazing. if your prescription is 1.5+/- or more then these are game changing. Quick delivery and mostly hassle free installation. Thanks for the discount! :D
I just ordered mine from Zenni. Along with a backup pair of glasses, their Black Friday promocode made both only cost $62 (they're normally $50 for the Q3 lenses). Also, the Q3 has raised rims around the lenses so even if you are wearing glasses, it's very difficult to accidentally come in contact with them with your glasses.
Thanks for all this information on special lenses for my Quest 3. Not sure if I will need these for my headset because I am getting Cataracts in both eyes taken care of. So far so good with my first surgery done and vision is improved. Take care.
I have VR Optician for my Quest Pro, but after a while, I noticed the lenses are starting to look foggy. They came with a Zeiss brand cleaning pad meant to remove grease, but it doesn't remove the filmy streak. I usually use WidmoVR, but they didn't have lenses for the Pro until just recently, not a year ago when I got my Pro. I'm about to get new glasses with a new prescription, so I'm going to order from WidmoVR instead.
@@adrianfox9431 it's the exact same liquid that the wet naps are soaked in. I said pads originally, but they're wet naps in foil pouches. I also ordered a spray bottle of the liquid after I found it worked for finger prints on my lctv. I tried on the lenses... no difference... still cloudy.
I have used a LensPen on my Quest 2 and now Quest 3 for years. I just ordered the Zenni lenses and will use it on those as well. It does a great job, and I have never had a scratch.
went with the hons as they seemed to be the thinnest of the magnetic styles out there. I personally dont recommend blue light filter for gaming as it messes with the colors and contrast too much. If you get eye fatigue or are playing late at night use the built in software and adjust strength of blue light filter. I will say any light from screen no matter you filter it or not puts a strain on eyes which is why you should game and take screens in sessions. Its also if you are tired and staring at a screen it does not matter the filter or not as well it will not help. Just turn it off and go to bed lol
It would have been nice if you tested the FOV with different brands of prescription lenses to see which is best. I'm worried some might reduce FOV, as I've heard some complain that certain brands do that more than others.
@@HearthstoneMontage I actually tried to do that and Zenni would not allow me to complete the purchase because my prescription was too large. Went with HonsVR per the recommendation of MRTV and the lenses are great. Been enjoying them with my Quest 3. They arrived in great condition very fast.
Has VR Optician for my G2, but for £27 delivered (with your discount code 👍) I thought they were worth a try, 5 days to the UK and I’m really happy with them, Bluelight filter is a must
Thanks for the review. Initially I was going for the VR optician ones, but now I learn that they aren't magnetic. With my life experience of faulty USB ports and cables over time on my phone and all the money gone to repair/replace it, I do worry if the click-on system of VR optician is durable and strong enough on the Lenses and the Quest 3 itself. Any insights in that?
@@mixedrealityTV Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly my concern for this was a bit too high, so I ordered HonsVR with your referral. I could have waited for Optician to get a magnetic lens, but that would add only even more to the already 55 euro difference between the two.
Should try vr rock. It, as of writing this, has a christmas sale + a coupon i got to start @ 39 usd. Theres a magnetic attachment, like VR wave, for an extra 30. Otherwise, the normal version works just like Zenni's clip ons.

Which ones are you getting? VR Optician or HonsVR?
Why is the HonsVR store asking for my IPD, and the VR Optician store isn't?
What’s the thinnest, VrOptician or HonsVR or Magnetic HonsVR?

How long did you have to wait for them? Thank you for your time.
Got my Hons VR lenses only 10 days after placing the order, did not expect them to arrive so soon. I live in Norway. Recommended!

@@GetOffMyyLawnWhatever works for you. They're more expensive than WidmoVR.
For people that wear progressive lenses, wouldn't that be better than single focus for VR ? I am not seeing that for the Meta Quest 3

just buy official Zenni lenses, they ship worldwide

does it reduce FOV ? @@nervaproject

How do they compare with VR-rock? Lots of choices there.
Hons magnetic lenses incoming!! Thanks for the discount!

Did you try Assassing Creed Nexus vr on Quest 3, any reaction ?
please clarify . WHO NEEDS LENS ? SHORT SIGHTED OR LONG SIGHTED ??????
If you cannot see clear in like 2m away from you it makes senseless to get a lense
Do VR optician lens frames scratch quest 3 black plastic when they click in?
No
if you have an astigmatism go with VR Optician
I chose VR Rock, only spent $39, and didn't pay any taxes. The quality is surprisingly satisfying.
Great!
Any idea if a USB-C to display port cable or adapter to graphics card would work on the quest 3?
no, they don't support the display-port protocol
Both good
$66 vs $157 is insane
Optician 83€ and HonsVr 45€

woohoo, en extra $50 for prism, : |
cant find anything on the HonsVR website regarding the import fees... because if there are fees it wouldnt really be that much cheaper
No fees ❤🎉
