I noted this in the video but wanted to point out in a pinned post too that the Neorah Pro Journal is a 135 gsm notebook whereas the A&O is a 160 gsm notebook so it's not entirely apples-to-apples but I still think it's a good comparison video to show you differences between these two. But I will be sharing a comparison between the Neorah art journal which is a 200 gsm journal and the A&O soon and also we can check out the Neorah pro journal vs the LT1917 for fun :)
Nice review thou!!😇 I actually use Neorah's Art journal and it's a 200 GSM notebook. This is the best art journal I've ever used. The 200 GSM paper is perfect for everything from sketching to painting. And yes, If we compare through the thickness of the paper. Definitely it would get disappointing!
Yes, you're right. We can't compare other journals to Neorah's in terms of GSM quality. If we compare a typical 135 GSM journal to Neorah's, Neorah will definitely come out on top. They also offer a wide range of GSM options, so give it a try it's going to be absolutely stunning.
Great video😍 I've been using the Neorah journals for the past 1 year... no compromise on the paper quality still the best. 🥰 As you said it can't be compared with Archer and Olive as GSM differs. still, I would choose Neorah over the latter.
My goodness! I’ve got a lot of catching up to do of your videos! I don’t know why they weren’t appearing in my feed. Quick question, do you find the toothiness of the A&O generally affects the smoothness of the writing experience when using a fountain pen?
Oh no! I'm sorry the notifications haven't come thru...I don't know why that happens sometimes (but thank you for subbing and catching up!). So I don't like using FPs on the A&O often - I honestly don't gravitate to using their books much even though I have a few. I want to love them but we don't seem to bond much. But I don't feel FPs work very well on their paper - it's not a pleasurable writing experience for me. I just prefer FPs in other books more. Hope that helps!

I’m getting their art journal too! Can’t wait to share and compare. I’m so glad you love it. I’m excited for it! What mediums do you use in yours?

Totally agree. Thanks for watching and commenting!
