Way back in like 99 when I was like 18 I worked for a really cool mom and pop small video game store so I pretty much knew about everything at least my style of game so I definitely played 3 and 1/2 of the series. Cartel was a horrible troll by the developers lol
In my opinion this is one of those games that will age well because of the well executed, simple, yet fun game/gunplay and timeless graphics. What a game! 🎯🎯
I've played through this game dozens of times since 2013. AMAZING GAME!! So glad you dedicated a video to it after you briefly touched on it in one of your previous TOP 10 videos.
I dont like red dead but I'm not here to argue with red dead fans about that. Your saying that just cause hes a cowboy? Cause it plays nothing like it.
@@sabu4539 red dead 2 was the most boring over rated game I ever played. Well AAA game atleast. Well dying light 2 was pretty bad too. Let's not forget fallout 76.
For me, GUN is the most underrated Wild West game. Nothing beats the intro. I'd love to see an updated Gunsmoke 3rd person game based off the old time radio version of U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon .
@@EC_42069 It had a great story and great side characters that you come across. Red Dead Revolver had great bad guys. I played GUN and beat it on Playstation 2, Xbox 360, and Playstation Portable. All the Red Dead games I only played and beat once. I just feel Red Dead needs real good competition. I also like the Call of Juarez series 1,2, and Gunslinger...not Call of Juarez Cartel🤦♂️. More legit old west games are needed in my personal opinion. I'd like a Jesse James gang game or Billy the Kid based on actual historical people.
Hell yeah it is badass! You guys did a wonderful job! I don't know anything about title licenses or how even that works but you guys should bring it back in some way shape or form
I've finished this game like 5 or 6 times now and the nostalgia hits HARD. It really makes you feel cool, and it's so satisfying to hit a headshot from a long range distance. What even makes it better, is that my irl name is also Silas! :D
That is a very well done game review! I've never personally played Call of Juarez, but it certainly looks interesting. I'll have to give it a try one of these days!
One thing that few people mention is that due to the old west setting, almost all guns are semi-auto or even single shot, and the max ammo capacity for any gun in the whole game is 12. And there's no scopes on any gun, only iron sights. This makes it very different from the majority of FPS with 2x or 4x scopes everywhere and 30 to 60 round magazines on full auto as the default.
I got it for free on steam yesterday and now after playing for few hours I hate myself for not paying-This game is Gold for some low end pc too -From Nepal
Absolutely love this game, I’m on play-through 5 or 6 as we speak, and it never gets old. Truly one of the very best Wild West shooters ever made, I have it downloaded on all 4 of my PS3 systems. 👌🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@theouterlimits1 5 now. It’s my favorite system of all time. I’ve picked up the systems I have for 20-30 bucks a piece over the years just for the controllers they came with really

I really want to make an online western, where you can make your name known across a server, fun dueling, property(bought or not) online bounty, even become a lawman, make a gang with order are not, mabye perma death(you can make a new character of course), public execution wich you can escape from, Or with some perk survive the specific type of execution, I want to make this but game development is muddy, Before i even get the chance to produce this im likely gonna be overshadowed so as passionate as I am about this I don't think I'm gonna make it, I have the skill (not the people ) But i don't have all of the recources, If I start an indie buissnes something this big will be hard to support, If i sell it to a Triple A company It might be watered down, so In the end I hope at least someone can take that empty spotlight, Life is hard, I don't think I can, Buy with the right position Past thoughts can mean nothing, Don't expect the not average to happen If you do the average, make a mark, make a small businesses, start a family, get that big gig, You think you you are in a train to fast to jump out of, But you have to detach the car, What I'm staying is, Dreams are dreams, Dreams can be destroyed but that doesn't ruin you, build back up. As I recall, a lot of people didn't like this game? Far as I can tell though, you've really piqued my interest. I'll definitely have to give this one a playthrough. Thank you!
it got stuck in the 'b-grade' section for most people, but it is a great game in its class. The vibes of it were overwhelmingly good, as much as RedDead even if it isn't 'open-world'.
I remember play it many years ago in PS3 and recently I got it free in steam so I played it again (I barely remember something about the game) and damn, never had an idea this game was so good, really one of the best western games available and highly recommended
i had this on my xbox 360 back in the days and today i was lucky to get this from steam and totally free! looks so good with modern PC and much more playable with KB and mouse
Just beat the dynamite chugging dude on hard, man this game has waaayyyyyy too much style. Gameplay is smooth, fast and got my blood pumping like crazy.
OH MY GOD I'M PLAYING THIS ON MY STEAM DECK WITH GYRO CONTROLS AND I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS IS THE WAY THE GAME WAS MEANT TO BE PLAYED YOU HAVE TO DO IT I LOVE THIS GAME ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE STEAM DECK
The visual style (like drawn characters, paper tears instead of bullet holes on the screen etc.) portrays the old 'Dime Novels' from the wild west era which were basically cheap graphic novels about the exaggerated heroism of outlaws.
I played this game 10 times when i was a kid and i'm have to say the game is so good that you will never forget the good story that it has and can't stop replaying it. It's such shame that the Game creators never continued this series or even remastred it.
I love that's the whole game is basically Silas telling his story. Of course he embellishes it at times. Of course he exaggerates details. And by doing so, he keeps you hooked and wondering. Isn't that what a good story is supposed to do?
All of The Call Of Juarez games are amazing! Personally I love The First Call Of Juarez (2005). But all of these games have a great story, they need to make a new Call Of Juarez! You need to reveiw Call Of Juarez (2005)! Its great! Nice Video!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I love this because it makes you question EVERYTHING Silas is saying. Yes you're experiencing it through him but it's also HIS memories. And you have to wonder if Silas is being truthful. Or an unreliable narrator.
Bought it for 5 dollars last night and the unreliable narrator aspect is probably the best part of the story, silas says he goes through a mineshaft but after dying in that part he says that plan was stupid and you get rewinded to the start of section to go the other direction, or the part where he tells he gets jumped by Apaches but only did it because someone was sleeping
Am here trying to find this game and its like 4 characters am sure and there a old man a women and cant remember the other ones and its first person shooter i cant remember the name anyone know
This is my favourite western based game EVER & yeah I know how good RDR/Undead Redemption & RDR2 are but I’m a MASSIVE fan of arcade type games that puts action & fun b4 open worlds & story, even though this really does have a great if linear storyline (more like story lines,I should say.)THIS IS THE BEST WESTERN GAME EVER MADE..IMO!
The best part is it's hard difficulty, if you beat the game you get true cowboy difficulty and new game + and it's pretty hard. It makes the game even more fun.

Same no doubt
Buy it
Its free on stream rn
Free on Steam!
I’d be lying if I said that after playing some Wild West games that I didn’t want to make a Hunter based on a cowboy
After playing call of juarez gunslinger back in 2013, 3 of my rpg charaters were cowboy gunslingers. One of them even was called Silas
Amazing game. Definitely doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
