Honestly the most interesting part of Star Wars to me is that there are whole civilizations mostly unknown to the Republic/Empire because they're outside of traditional hyperspace lanes. Thinking of how the Chiss fought a whole war of similar scale without the Empire even knowing. It reminds me of Alexander or Rome fighting over Europe/Egypt/Asia, completely unaware of entire civilizations of similar scale in China, India, or Subsaharan Africa.
@@batuhaninaltekin6124 yeah, but because of the vast distance from one another. Both nations couldn't establish any form a diplomatic relationships until the time of the eastern Roman empire.
I've done the math, according to the Disney timeline, the empire fell in little over a 1 after the battle of endor. The empire had 25,000 star destroyers and of these, half went missing over the course of the year (presumably to join the first order). That leaves 12,500 SDs that the rebels must destroy or capture to defeat the empire. If they defeated the empire in a year like Disney canon says, then they had to have destroyed or captured an average of 34 SDs PER DAY. That is just too much for the rebellion to take down in a single year. This is why the legends timeline makes more sense, it took 30 years for the empire to fall and the empire had split up into different warlord factions
With supply chains destroyed, some ISDs probably destroyed themselves. We also see in Squadrons that rogue ISDs attacked other warlords and were destroyed by other Imperials. How many of these ISDs were caught in Cinder death rays?
And supply chains wouldn't just disintegrate overnight because the emperor is dead, especially since the empire reminded relatively united in the Disney timeline

Even if you argue by using real world historical event as background, Palpatine wanting to see the whole galaxy burn if he dies is an insult to how much of a genius mastermind of a villain he is.
Yep, but it is based on an actual Nazi plan. Hitler tasked Albert Speer with the Nero decree. This was a scorched earth policy to destroy anythig of value within Germany, infrastructure, machinery, resources and art.
The weapon satellites would've been a far more effective deterrent for Tarkin's doctrine instead of the Death Star. Think about it; whereas the Death Star obliterates the planet and wastes any further resource and infrastructure potential it could still have, these satellites instead act as orbital bombardment beams and scour the surface of the Empire's enemies. As a both a psychological and destructive weapons, it is far more effective than the Death Star as it leaves the planet's resources and territory to be reclaimed, and if the Empire was smart they'd have several droids and AV recording equipment on the ground shooting footage to send it's message; Step out of line and this is your fate. But whoever wrote this as Palpatine's Last Spite was an idiot as using it on loyalist worlds instead of rebelling ones is patently stupid and moronic.
2:00 "Oh no we lost a few star destroyers lol its not like we have 25,000 more, tens of thousands of other stardestroyers varients, and hundreds of thousands of smaller ships. Along with tens of billions of stormtroopers, tens of triilions or army troopers (counting elite versions of both groups. No no yeah we're defeated. we have to surrender" lol stupid.
I hope they continue this series until the Battle of Exegol, since Episode 6 is not the last star wars movie. We still have episodes 7-9 to prove that.
It is based on an actual plan by Hitler called the Nero decree, where Albert Speer was ordered at the end of the war to burn anything of value, including machinery, infrastructure, art, and other resources both to punish Germany for surrendering and deny the allies the fruits of their victory.

Great vid! More Conan please!
Love these Star Wars videos. Have you read any of the High Republic material? THere are several battles within those books that would make for some good videos on this channel.
Could you also do the legends story post-Endor?
That's unlikely they can't just combine both Disney and Legends Canon together....but I still wish they'd do a separate series specifically for Legends
@@Comrade_Connie I'm not asking for a combo, just legends canon.
@@chrismartindale7840 yes but for that they still have to make a separate series specifically for Legends, Legends will still be the actual Canon for me
@@Comrade_Connie me as well, though I have high hopes for Ashoka.
@@chrismartindale7840 same but I hope they don't ruin it too much or maybe it'll be great but I have to remember they'll have to fit the timeline Disney made.
Isn't that acclamator way to big in comparison to the mc75's?
Ah yes, the greatest insult to Star Wars canon since the Sequels...
Operation Cinder really makes no sense from even a logical point.
Didht know you guys had a different channel for nerd stuff. Awesome.
Damn sith and their schemes
We are now going into post-Original Trilogy ABY eras... this is going to be a fun wild ride, right? Right?
pew pew, pew pew
Alright chief, this stopped being star wars after the battle of endor. Legends timeline only or im not watching further
Cinder and jakku are the most moronic additions Disney made, both of which completely devoid of any strategic vision or semblance of foresight!
Operation Nero is based on Hitler's Nero Decree. Look it up.
Wish for Stargate & GATE Thus the JSDF Fought There videos soon.
❤
Palpatine was a petty loser
Kinga and generals yaaas haha
👍
Whenever villains do stuff like this it stinks of sore loser syndrome
The alphabet squadron, lol an elite unit of homosexual soldiers that would be funny
Luke Skywalker dis not participate in any New Republic campaigns. What an act of cowardice 😂😂😂
The whole idea of operation cinder is so stupid
BURN!
Alphabet squadron, lmao.
Warhammer 40K pweaseeee 🥹
2:00 "Oh no we lost a few star destroyers lol its not like we have 25,000 more, tens of thousands of other stardestroyers varients, and hundreds of thousands of smaller ships. Along with tens of billions of stormtroopers, tens of triilions or army troopers (counting elite versions of both groups. No no yeah we're defeated. we have to surrender" lol stupid.
Never heard of these events. Must be fanfiction.
No there canon ( it’s good or bad will be your opinion.)
@@reaganhayden5165 Nah. It's fanfiction. Never happened. It's not real.
I hope they continue this series until the Battle of Exegol, since Episode 6 is not the last star wars movie. We still have episodes 7-9 to prove that.
they are covering the galactic civil war... so basically from Scariff to jakku. but i would have seriously liked if they covered the clone wars!
Operation cinder is one of the most stupid piece of canon in a world full of them done under disney leadership.
It is based on an actual plan by Hitler called the Nero decree, where Albert Speer was ordered at the end of the war to burn anything of value, including machinery, infrastructure, art, and other resources both to punish Germany for surrendering and deny the allies the fruits of their victory.
This lore seems weak
🏗
This not even *close* to "Star Wars" as Star Wars' Galactic Civil War is far longer than *this* idiotic mess... tis not your fault, but your sources are wrong.
Clone wars is more interesting then this, I feel like Disney ruined it just seems a mess from loads of different media law and writers peaced together in crumbs, 40k ftw
