Lucky to have a Cortland tree in my yard growing up. To me, that's what an apple should taste like. They're so delicious.
I wish I could grow a Cortland here in California. I don't think we get enough chill hours to grow them well. We tasted them when we were on a trip back east during harvest time. Hands down my favorite apple.
