I just realized after posting that the major arcana is off by 1 due to the Goldfinch/fool being numbered 1 instead of 0. (Just to confuse things a bit more 😹)

Hello! Thank you very much for a very useful review! You have noticed a lot of important details (ladybug on the zero arcane, for example).

It is very interesting to hear about the differences between the author's cards from the classic ones. The cliff reminded of novels, the heroines of which came to the cliffs in despair and did not know whether to step into the abyss.

Thank you for telling us about the meaning of the Ghost card. 👻 I remembered that a Ghost, if it appears during fortune-telling on coffee, also speaks of the return of the past. More often people from the past.

Thank you for going through the guidebook. The assigned meaning is so different from my intuitive understanding of the cards which make me rethink if I should buy this deck.

Same. I bought it as I love the imagery and I just reassign the meanings to my intuitive interpretation 🌷
