- Crantock beach’s large expanse of golden sands and dramatic grass-topped dunes sit between the cliffs of thet Pentire headlands, whilst the Gannel river flows into the sea from the east.
Just a 15-minute drive from the bustling town of Newquay, this National Trust owned beach remains surprisingly quiet even during the summer months and is a perfect spot for swimming, surfing, and snorkelling, or wild walks year-round.
Cafes, toilets and parking with 150 spaces are nearby, along with a camping site.
To access the beach, please use the level path from the right hand corner of the National Trust car park.
