Fantastic band and Patty Andrews, who was 64 or 65 when this was made in 1983, was still singing wonderfully. But watch at about 43:00 in the video when one of the Dean Collin's dancer's grabs Patty Andrews and they cut a rug like it's 1940. Amazing!
Remembering when "In the Swing" starting Steve Allen, was produced by KCET Los Angeles and first aired locally as part of the Winterfest '83 Pledge Campaign(December 1983) and then the program aired nationally as part of Festival '85(March 1985 Membership Pledge Campaign), and even it aired on KPBS San Diego, Circa Saturday March 16th, 1985!! TV Worth Watching and TV Worth Paying For!!

For me Patty was at her best with her sisters, their sound really represents the wartime years. But her solo album has a couple beautiful songs.
