the definitive answer to how long to shake is to shake until the paint is mixed up, so the real question is how does one know when that happens? Your rattle can is fully mixed when the marble will circulate/spin around the bottom of the can. The "heavies" in the paint will "stick" to the marble and prevent it from rolling around the bottom "groove" of the can until it is appropriately mixed.

I love those boxes! I usually add a little DOT flammable or combustible label just to be fully compliant. Another tip is to add one of those pig oil absorbent mats at the bottom. Provides a bit of cushion and soaks up spills better then a rag. 👍

10:09 Proho maybe should lift up the upper part of the syphon hose just a few a bit before the receiving container get full so you don't spill anything and you don't loose the the stuff left in the pipe by trying to put it back into the donating container (proho should make thing easier by thinking logically).

ProHo, there is definitely an element of The Fizz in that label-maker and the stencil and that whole process.
I can see how the original design for the box came to be. The top of the box is rounded very nicely, like a desk drawer. Exactly like, in fact. My father's old wooden desk drawers look exactly the same as that box.
It looks like someone took the drawer from an old desk and simply added another 1/16" board over the top.
Or perhaps they simply repurposed the front of an old desk drawer.
Either way is clever and classy.
    Keep Calm & Fizz On.
