Otherwise he will not complete the work. He start problem with the owner and will abandon the work.This my experience. So, owner can not cheet.

Scam Ithu mattum illa bro, my personal exp is, apart from building square feet rates extra work like compound, elevation like this everything needs to be finalised before work start & needs to be documented as well other wise we need to pay what the builder ask at the final. In my situation initially he measured and we spoked & finalised for compound 3 Lakhs & elevation with headroom was 1 Lakh. Amount also already paid for compound wall on December itself since basement work for compound wall was started & completed at that time. But now April month almost building works 80% was completed & he is coming with new expense list for compound it’s like 4.85 Lakhs & elevation 1.54 lakhs, headroom separately as 1.5 Lakhs. I paid 3 Lakhs for compound on December itself but only half of the work till basement for compound is completed & still compound wall needs to be constructed. Now he is coming with this new expense list like this. Very very worst. This is my first experience so sikkita.. almost 4 Lakhs needed extra now to complete the entire building work apart from the quoted with 60 Lakhs. @Mano’s Try

Example casagrand and more firms will give their individual houses and appartment system with very low quality products. So dont blame blindly paper work. Checkout their last 10 year history, inspect then Give your research papers
