- Welcome to the very first video of Izzy’s Corner!
Izzy started making holiday mixes years ago when she was younger and she still continues to do it for a lot of the holidays. She said look out for her St. Patrick’s Day mix next. She does a really great job at them she’ll make a lot so we can take some to church for the youth and team programs and she likes to put it in smaller containers and give it away to her grandmother or other family members.
Here’s her recipe for the Valentine mix ;
Two bags of cotton candy, popcorn
Two bags of iced animal crackers
One box of cinnamon teddy grahams
Two bags of strawberry milkshake, M&Ms
Two bags of milk, chocolate valentine, M&Ms
Two bags of conversation heart candies
Two bags of vanilla cupcake, goldfish crackers
Two bags of strawberries and cream Chex mix
One large bag of regular Chex mix
Like she said in the video, if you don’t want to add so many sweet items, try adding peanuts, almonds, and macadamia nuts. Or you could do yogurt, covered raisins, or just plain, red and golden raisins. You can also add dried fruit they come in packets at Walmart to give it a little sweetness. Or add in some different mini pretzels. She’s also done mixes where she’s at us some dried fruit and that turned out really good to.
