- So I’m still trying to be really careful in what we buy hi made a list on the door now that’s our our new grocery list board actually door, I’ve been really really trying hard to stick to the list we did veer off a little bit because of Izzy and Noah wanting things, but they work so hard and they don’t ask for anything so with school starting they had a couple things that they really wanted to get so they could grab and go and then they have sports after school so it’s nice for them to have a snack it was a lot of fun grocery shopping with my kids they’re super crazy and then of course we bought Jack and now to figure out what to do with him. 😂😂 I thought grocery shopping every two 2 1/2 weeks was gonna be hard because we are such a big family but honestly it’s really made us have to eat what’s in the house and it’s caused less waste which is amazing because I don’t have the money to just throw down the toilet. So it’s been working out really well for our family and it’s helping us to be more appreciative I guess of what we have and not to just buy stuff just to buy stuff. So I’m pretty proud of all of my family and how we’re working together to make sure that we’re saving money and being wise. But don’t get me wrong we do like treats and we do buy treats but we are trying hard to budget.

I have 5 kids and I usually try to stick to taking 1-2 at a time. It’s harder to stay on budget when you’ve got a whole crowd shopping lol

This is hilarious. Izzy and Noah are such lovely helpful kids. So important to take kids grocery shopping so they learn how to do it properly. It take 5 times as long, and more is added to the shopping trolley, but so worth it. ♥️

I don't know if this before or after your hall closet clean out but I did have any idea what you could do with the pillow case is make big blanket for each kid with there own pillows case for there beds
do u guys have Costco or Sam's club u can get big bags n much cheaper I got 25lb flour used to be 6or7 now it12. n 25lb of white sugar n I get bag of brown n put damp napkins in ziplock baggies not closed in my container n stays nice n moist also keep molasses in case I run out if brn ill make my own
I look forward to this I am sure it's more relatable then another larger fam who spend 1300 a week. The vacation grocery haul of 12 carts of food they never ate, actually made me feel quite ill.
I am a sahm to a fam of 4, 2 sons 17 and 21 who are locusts and my husband all the menfolk are 6 foot or close to it and eat me out of house and home.
My weekly budget is 300 to 330 Canadian, everything is so expensive here. To keep my grocery bill down I do Walmart grocery curbside pick up, mid week discount grocer, and sometimes dollar store and Amazon.
Poor kids trying to sneak in some yogurt and a box of cereal. Meanwhile, I'm getting 2 boxes of creamer cause might not like the other. Get that one cause I want to try it...but I'm on a budget. 😂😂😂

Do you not have scan as you shop. Which means you scan all the goods put them in your bag and pay at the end . No long waiting in queues.

I luv ur family but izzy needs to understand the word no they are not little kids they work and have their own money anything extra they need to buy they also need to understand the word budget u spend way more when Noah and izzy are with u back in my day we knew not to ask or touch anything unless we were buying it but I love to watch u and ur family. And if u want to do dairy first u do the way u want and if u wanna use paper plates use them do what works for ur family
