snake eyes. You can get value out of sending your own skill drain to the graveyard, and you have space to run 14-15 outs to skill drain. Trap eater is really good. Also you opponent will likely build around skill drain and play with backrow, so extra backrow removal will likely have value. Altergeist can play under skill drain with spoofing.
My best play has been unicorn, then adverurer token, summon black witch send skill drain to gv, get equip spell to hand, get wandering, send equip spell and attach to token, bounce ops skill drain, summon gryphon. Three 7s for rank 7 or keep for negate and banish.
"Heavy Storm" and regular "Storm" will remove both "Skill Drain"s. The event should have plenty of backrow, so any way of removing it would be good. "Skill Drain" only works on card effects on the field, so anything that activates elsewhere should be good. Graydle and Hands are relatively cheap options. Card with detrimental effects are possible. The Train main deck monsters (ex. Night Express Knight) can be summmoned for a beatdown on their own, and Sandaion can be used as a beater. Cards that don't focus on Effect monsters on the field are possible. Phantasm Spiral is likely the cheapest of these and other options (at least the archetype as they're all N/R rarity), and Dark Magician even has a Structure Deck or 2 with a lot of support cards - you can . Adventure has the Adventure Token and Equip cards to use, but most of the monsters have field effects, so it would be cumbersome playing the whole archetype. Since most Extra Deck monsters wouldn't be useful anyway, True Draco would be a good option as it mainly is dependent on backrow, and you can offer up the Skill Drain for tribute and destroy the opponent's backrow at the start with the Continuous Spell effects. If all else fails, there's always burn damage. Stall them with the myriad of cards there are, like "Threatening Roar" and use "Cauldron of the Old Man" or "Bad Reaction to Simochi" and "Gift card" along with a few others. That's about all I can think of right now. Hope that helps - at least a bit!
@phienex Some parts of Blue-Eyes _might_ be viable, but getting the Extra Deck monsters ready is slow - any immunities of a monster (even to Traps) are negated. I find it kind of funny that "Heavy Storm" is Forbidden in "Master Duel" but "Harpie's Feather Duster" is not at all.
Shayma does not get rid of your or your opp. Skill drain. It will be negated ones it hits the field and it needs to be on the field to activate it's effect

that's whaaat i'm saying. Although you can't really remove your opponents skill drain with snake eye so there's that down side
The best way to remove both skill drain is double cyclone
oh yea i forgot that existed a bit better then twin twister... but not better then shyama imo because you also get a body which isn't bad
This video was very helpful thank you very much I was originally planning to skip the event but after watching this I’m kinda excited to try it now 👍
fun fact in the nib event branded players were using the nib you get to do fusion summons XD

Heavy storm isn't legal though although storm is
