- The Red Ghost was a beast of legends, it was terrorizing the territory of Arizona in the late 1800s and was said to have killed and devoured a grizzly bear. However the truth behind the Red Ghost, lies an interesting fact of United States History
I find it interesting that there was a mule lobby opposed to wider adoption of camels.
Mules have a better temperament.
Very interesting story. Great work my friend !
Love the channel!
I would walk a mile for a camel!
So would I. They are noble creatures. I would rather have one than a horse.

Poor camel. So sad.
Poor dead man.
Death Valley Days, an old TV Western show, had an episode on the Red Ghost.
Such an amazing story!
Oh woah, where did you find that it killed and ATE the bear? Ive only seen that it got into a fight with a bear Ive never found a primary source citing the conclusion
Penaldo remains a myth as a red camel merchant 😂😂🐪
I would love to know who tied the man to the camel and why.
Maybe a merchant who tied himself as to not fall off?
Explains the raw hide
I heard on a show called Mysteries at the Museum that it was a soldier who was afraid of the camels, so he was tied to it, but the camel got spooked and took off, the soldier tied to it and would die on it.
