Day of Mourning 2024: Davinder's Story

April 28 is nationally recognized as a Day of Mourning-a day dedicated to honouring workers who lost their lives through work-related illness or injury.
In 2023, 165 Alberta workers lost their lives in workplace incidents. These losses have a profound impact on families, friends, co-workers and employers.
Davinder Singh, a 24-year old apprentice heavy duty equipment technician, died as a result of a workplace incident in 2023. We remember him.
