everytime i watch chino hills, i can never ever believe how incredible their front ensamble is. i cant evrn find the words to describe it i’ve spent 5 minutes trying to write this comment to describe it.

that drumline and front ensemble are actually amazing, as well as the horn line being pretty good. i guess texas isnt the best state after all.

@V15lol yea true. Their horn line is ok at best and the visuals to are ok. From what I've seen their Strong suit is percussion and pit

You're joking right? Hebron High School from Texas alone would sweep ALL California high school marching bands. 2021 and 2022 shows are top tier. Not to mention the other 30+ high school marching bands from Texas that are eligible for BOA and UIL championships... EVERYONE knows Texas is in a league of their own. Their sound is 10x that of any large California marching band in same size comparison, and the music pieces alone is literally Tchaikovsky level whereas cali bands sound like they're playing scales at best.
@dannylogo1996 I was just saying California kinda surprised me. And imo don't hate on me but Hebron shows have gotten progressively more sloppy. Im not saying they are bad they are damn near professional level but I'm jus saying this school kinda reminded me of a texas band 😭 but yes I'm aware texas is a diff league. I literally am in a texas band.
Maybe not the strongest hornline, but a very awesome show nonetheless
This show was very simple and easy to perform. They scored the highest because there is very little marching and playing. No formations just group marching. Ayala and James Logan got screwed from some biased judges.
I could not disagree more. Your claims are baseless and detract from the hard work and effort put in by these students.
I see PLENTY of formations, marching, playing, body movements, and RUNNING that I don't see from other bands. The high notes from their soloist are incredible and the sheer speed of their front ensemble went completely unmatched. And their guard...beautiful...just beautiful!
