It's wild that Dzeef has literally revolutionized Yugitubing and breathed life into the scene with all his cool series, but consistently loses at every one of them. Season 3 when?
Kind of, I mean master Saga is just the Master Duel version of Progression (albeit, higher power and shorter seasons) and Master Roulette is basically the Master Duel version of Sealed Showdown. Not that it’s a bad thing, but I wouldn’t call it revolutionary.
This was actually the perfect episode to end on. Saga and Roulette are the two best Yugioh series on RUclips. Also, based on the hints next season sounds even better. I love the idea of keeping the ban list around so you guys can't just play the same decks. Better to make it official rather than the sort of gentleman's agreement it was this season.
Idea, those permanently banned cards like zeus and access code should be allowed to be used for just the episode you pull them, so if you do come across one in the wild its still exciting.
It was honestly so entertaining seeing the three of you bouncing off of each other, hope it becomes a mainstay (or at least more common) thing to have MBT in live for commentary alongside you and Farfa.

Obviously the scheduling is too tough to do it regularly, but the addition of a 3rd person to bully both Doug and Farfa and get shit talked in return is *such* an improvement. Maybe it could be every 5 episodes?

I come here every now and then just to see the most based deck ever played in saga, and to see Joseph losing his mind when Farfra played reasoning and milled half of his deck
I think the two biggest problems with this series atm is: A) A lot of packs won't see play because they're either too high rarity or require you to have every piece of the archetype to be usable B) Sometimes you just get horrible pulls and can't make a new deck that week/can't improve on your deck that week. So you get stuck playing the same deck, many for multiple weeks in a row. I think one thing that may help with this is allowing each of you to have the ability to opt into drawing an extra X amount of packs from your chosen secret pack for that week(maybe an extra ten packs, and you can only do it twice per season.) This way there is an incentive to go into those packs that go under category A, and if there is a pack you really want to play but scenario B happens you can force your way into the pack more. Though as it stands I think some tweaks should be made to this idea since it can potentially cause weeks where there is a huge power imbalance since the player who opts to draw those extra packs will have an advantage via having a bigger collection, along with a potentially very strong deck.
As a toon enjoyer myself I gotta say toon bls can attack the turn it's summoned, just not after activating the banish. Also that the line was pitch bookmark to summon red eyes, red eyes effect to special the bls from hand.

Now for the question I'm sure some of you are wondering: _am I going to do this next season, if there is one?_ Well, to be completely honest, I don't really know. On one hand, the list has kinda become iconic, but on the other hand, having to keep track of the list and update it as soon as an episode was released kind sucked a little bit of enjoyment out of this series for me, and was rather exhausting too. I might do the full list next season, or might might just do a compromise and track the win/loss records, but NOT the staples, we'll see how I feel when the time comes.

Kind of, I mean master Saga is just the Master Duel version of Progression (albeit, higher power and shorter seasons) and Master Roulette is basically the Master Duel version of Sealed Showdown.
Not that it’s a bad thing, but I wouldn’t call it revolutionary.

Also, based on the hints next season sounds even better. I love the idea of keeping the ban list around so you guys can't just play the same decks. Better to make it official rather than the sort of gentleman's agreement it was this season.

I think the two biggest problems with this series atm is:
A) A lot of packs won't see play because they're either too high rarity or require you to have every piece of the archetype to be usable
B) Sometimes you just get horrible pulls and can't make a new deck that week/can't improve on your deck that week. So you get stuck playing the same deck, many for multiple weeks in a row.
I think one thing that may help with this is allowing each of you to have the ability to opt into drawing an extra X amount of packs from your chosen secret pack for that week(maybe an extra ten packs, and you can only do it twice per season.) This way there is an incentive to go into those packs that go under category A, and if there is a pack you really want to play but scenario B happens you can force your way into the pack more. Though as it stands I think some tweaks should be made to this idea since it can potentially cause weeks where there is a huge power imbalance since the player who opts to draw those extra packs will have an advantage via having a bigger collection, along with a potentially very strong deck.
As a toon enjoyer myself I gotta say toon bls can attack the turn it's summoned, just not after activating the banish. Also that the line was pitch bookmark to summon red eyes, red eyes effect to special the bls from hand.
MBT made this so much more fun. Love this format, hope to see it at the end of the next season too.
