How come the super soft leafs you get with the kits/RTR 4wds are different to the ones you can buy as a replacement? 1: the load bearing and helper springs are different lengths. 2: the replacement ones are softer and work better then the ones that come with the kits/RTR 4wds.
Ok. I'm still struggling with the zbox set up. It doesn't make any sense. So does the zbox mount go in the front? Im😢 just trying to make it realistic. But no matter what, nothing works together. I've broken ubolts, stripped half of what I tried. I'm old school. I'm tired of spending my hard earned money on junk from another country
Rc4wd products suck so bad… are we just not going to address that rear shackle angle? Or how no Rc4wd shocks are able to hold oil? Or how the front shackles hit the frame and you have to cut notches to make the front cycle correctly?
Just purchased my first leaf sprung truck. I absolutely love it!!
I also recommend adding the o-ring mod, reverse shackles on the front, and just manually break the leafs in by pushing up and down and side to side.
I always thought that was the best idea to improve on suspension flexibility!👌😎👍
Use only the long leaf spring gel and use the softest spring possible.
It is best to add half of the oil as it is the softest.
This answered a bunch for me! Thanks for the video
Still want one of these for a project I'm thinking of. Using springs and 3/4 link at the same time
Thanks for sharing.
Good way to go Mike!

cool video and info on the leaf springs
Nice job!🤘🤘
If you apply too much of the screw fixing agent, it will be difficult to loosen it later.....
With the Marlin having softer leafs will removing the softest leaf still help or will that make it TOO soft ?
Rc4wd what is the longest spring pack you make
excelent

Why don't you guys just leave those parts off? The trucks would drive better out of the box and it would cost you $0.
