Thank you again for this video. I find it so amazing that some people share their secret tips and tricks. Ur a gentleman !! We want more videos !!!! ;)
Awesome pointers in here! There is one thing I would note in regards to saving your view settings and project settings like key interpolation, frame opacity, ect. Rather than having to setup your view setting each new project you can save a project as "new.c4d" in the root of your cinema folder. In my case /Applications/MAXON/Cinema 4D R19/new.c4d. This will save and apply all those view and project settings to any new project you start. I wish I had known about this earlier. Hopefully someone else finds this helpful!
Points to circle doesn't work on R20, but tip for those who can't use it = choose 4 corner points scale to 70% and bam, same result :)! Love your vids! They're so cozy.
Andrey your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites on RUclips. As a self trained professional it's great to hear someone talking about how to think differently when approaching a problem. That kind of advice transcends a specific effect or singular issue and you're the best place on RUclips to get that kind of advice! Thanks for the content and I look forward to seeing your future stuff!
Andrey, I really appreciate anything you put out to inspire/educate everyone who runs into your videos. Subscribed, liked, and looking forward to following your work!
thanks for the video. a small note: After select an object on the viewport, hover over cursor to Object list panel and press 'S' Key. (vice versa, after select an object from your object list panel, hover over cursor to viewport and press 'S')
Hey, thanks for the tips! Here the tip for you about "scroll to first active". You can just press "S" button when your mouse pointer is over object manager area. Same thing works for the viewer window, but only when your mouse pointer is over viewer window area.
New subscriber here, love your stuff man! Great production value, and a great change to see someone covering some less popular topics, while remaining super chill and interesting
Hi .. I just found out about your channel b.. thanks for this video .. so much helpful .. one question though .. how did you put space between each button?
It's very useful. Can you show (at least quick) your design workflow, from start to finish, and your folder structure when you working with project? Thanks a lot!
Exactly! And how to fight a project mess - a folder structure of real big project(s), please. And little secrets of all designers - adjustment layers on the top of final comp, what fx and tricks in there, in case of finishing last look in ae (not in fusion - i'm looking after all uploads of yours). Really helpful for young designers (and not only), thanx for supporting!
R26 users reset psr is just called reset transform and appears as button in coordinate manager. Points to circle script is basically just Fit circle function in polygons mode. Select material is already in your material manager Magic solo is just called viewport solo F curve is easy to get to from bottom left timeline shortcut Open gl statistics is viewport statistics
Andrey Lebrov Man, idk how I found you but you are my new favorite youtuber. You can explain everything in a really good way, so that everyone can understand. Im sure that you will have over 5000 subs one month later, ok maybe two or three^^ but just keep doing man! You are a beast!!!!! I love you (no homo) 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😄
Hi Andrey! I'm very curious about your 3d mouse. Is more convinient moving continuesly your hand between this mice and your keyboard to activate hotkeys (move/rotate/scale ecc)?
Hey, thanks for amazing tutorials., Optimize button is also must have. Especially if you are working with game engines. Can you please show more on Cinema to Fusion pipeline? Trying to wrap my head around it, tho not a huge success yet. Спасибо:)
Все будет. We are moving to new studio at the moment. Once we settle down I'll do more vids on keying, working with green screen, tracking and compositing in Fusion. Stay tuned. Thanks for the support!
Hallo Andrey, would you suggest to buy a Space Navigator with buttons ( like 3DCONNEXION 3Dx). Or do you think its more than enough with the one you have
Great tips again Andrey. It would be awesome if you could cover rendering in one of your videos man. My exports (even with high settings on physical, global illuminations, ambient occluison set on high included) still come out kinda sub par. I am not getting that C4D look at all. Quicktime export might be the culprit here. I get better results exporting as TIFFS then animating in AE. However that takes too long and adds an extra step. It would be amazing if you could run a ELI5 on this...
Hey. Thanks for the comment. I can surely do that. Would you be able to send one of your scenes to me? Any scene that you are not happy with. I will break it down, and explain what has to be done in one of the upcoming vids. My email is andrey@anmeko.com. Cheers ;)
I recently got the space navigator and already love it! only when i'm in camera modus the controls are different, is there anyway to switch/change that?
Andrey, thanks a lot for your tips. I'm working in R19-20 and I did find a working Points to Circles script for this versions. Would appresiate all solutions. Thanks!
Cool thanks. What's the Cinema4D equivalent for 3D modeling that needs precision, a CAD software (preferably with accurate physics and VR) but is smooth and easy as Cinema4D to build precision parts, accurately scaled human body organs that look photorealistic and architecture with proper measurements? Thank you.
great tips and tricks man. but i have just one question. how to save all these imported shortcuts and scripts, so when i open C4D it's all already imported
Hi Andrey, hope you are doing well, i have a question i hope you can answer it :) i have a 3d mouse orbiting around in 3ds max so nicely, but in cinema 4D it cannot orbit around the objects that are away from grid center unless you click it. I mean i need cinema 4d to auto orbit center the object. :) Thanks

Thank you so much, your channel is THE goldmine. I didn't get points to circle scripts to work with R23. I put it into the correct folder but it won't do anything. Any ideas?
@@AndreyLebrov I've just gone through and updated the script file to work with R23. There's a link on my channel to get it if you still need it :) Cheers!
Somehow the points to cicle script doesn't work with the R18 version I have right now. But anyways good video! Btw. The disable/enable materials plugin link is not working anymore. :/
The Disable/Enable materials plugin doesn't work on R20, because it's a COFFEE language. i guess you now are working with c4d R20, How did you manage to resolve this issue?
@@AndreyLebrov Thanks Andrey! I thought about it. But it's not as easy as having a custom command in a palette like the Disable/Enable materials plugin. I guess I'll have to create a small script or plugin to simplify the manipulation (create display tag, go inside the attributes, check/uncheck the texture box...) Anyway, thank you again for your advice, I'll let you know how I manage this.
Andrey, or anyone... is there a way to use the Space Navigator (3dConnexion) to animate the camera recording actual keyframes? I tried using cappucino but it doesn´t seem to record camera movements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
This channel is underrated, Big thanks to you master

i think also work if you save your layout as Startup. in the window->customization menu.

in c4dcafe i think there is a version of that in python, same plugin but rewrite by some user in the forum. check it out

I liked how you read my mind and said: you're welcome 3:50
This tool is quite similar to loop tool add-on in Blender
Literally at least half a dozen tips here that i've been desperately needing to know. Awesome video mate. Thanks.

how does the changes stay permanent? I restarted C4D and the docks were away
I forgot to mention it in the video, didn't I... Haha, sorry... Window - Customisation - Save as Startup Layout
Thanks for all this :) how is 4:49 magic solo different than using a shortcut for "viewport solo single" which is native in C4D?
