- In this video of Living the Jo life, we go on our first ever train ride in Indonesia. We booked the Executive Class on the Argo Wilis train to go on the 7-hour journey from Yogyakarta to Bandung. We really enjoyed the train ride, which took us through the beautiful countryside of Java. The scenery was stunning with small rustic-looking villages, mountains, volcanoes, rice paddy fields and other agricultural fields. In this video, we will take you on a tour of the train and show you our seats and the lovely restaurant carriage onboard the train. We are looking forward to more train rides in Indonesia in the future and can highly recommend this train experience.

Try Fast Train ( bullet train ) Whoosh from Jakarta to Bandung the distance 142.3 km only takes 35 menit
Also try visit Kawah Putih ( White Ceater ) , Ciwidey with vast tea plantation , Ranca Upas licated southern part of Bandung around 25 km, and Gunung Tangkuban Perahu ( active vulcano ), you can drive car till the edge of crater, and Lembang , floatng market, orchid forest located northern part of Bandung around 20 km,and dont forget in Bandung city visit Paris Van Java mall and Cihampelas Walk,

Hello im living in Bandung i recommend you to visit these places :
- Kawah Putih (south of Bandung)
- Kampung Cai Ranca Upas (south of Bandung) it like deer preservation
- Lembang Floating Market (north of Bandung)
- Lembang Park and Zoo (north of Bandung)
- Asstro Highlands (even north from Bandung almost outside Bandung)
- Orchid Forest Cikole (right near Asstro)
City Center destination :
- Braga Street and Asia Afrika Street (also visit the Gedung Merdeka museum, i think its free)
- Sudirman Street Foodcourt and Cibadak Street (best at night)
- Kiara Artha Park (best at night but daylight also nice)
- Gedung Sate and Gasibu Park nearby
- Museum Geologi (near Gasibu)

Actually you can book the ticket from the application, it is called Access by KAI. It is easier to book a ticket via application than the web 😊
Enjoy your trip... in 2023 christmas i went to jakarta and bogor for foods there, but i love street food of bogor so from surabaya went to bogor just to eat street food. And try jakarta new train.. always be careful and put ur important stuff to ur personal bag and bring it with you anytime anywhere you walk, especially when u in the train station or walk to street which lot of people.

If you go to Central Java, stop by Purwokerto and Purbalingga, small towns under the beautiful slopes of Mount Slamet, the people are friendly and have cool and green natural attractions. In Purwokerto there is BATURRADEN tourism and in Purbalingga there is GOA LAWA (cave) tourism and LEMBAH ASRI SERANG (D'LAS) tourism 🙏

If you wanna go to Jakarta from Bandung, you must try the bullet train "Whoosh" from Bandung to Jakarta, you will experience how to travel 350 km/hour with the bullet train, have a nice adventures and traveling.

3:12 even as Indonesian, I have the same issue too while using regular Indonesian train service, next if you are in Bandung and go to Jakarta try whoosh, Indonesian high speed train, the future of intercity train transport all over across Indonesia. Hahaahah

Well, don't bring animals to be exact, it could range from Chicken to well Snake..😂, back in the day when Indonesian trains were still chaotic, people brought their pet with them (mostly a rooster, so i remember the used to be a rooster that actually crowed..and we laughed so hard),.right now you have to put your pet in a cage and put it in special train..😂😂
Not only roosters but also goat, birds, duck and even sometimes they brings trees 😆 but mostly it happen in '80 to 90'. at the year 2000 until now, the KAI issues new protocols.

Hi visit Sri Lanka, it's very inexpensive. Great place to visit ❤️
There are several classes of trains on the Yogyakarta to Bandung route that are better than boarding trains. Namely suite compartment class trains, panoramic class trains, luxury class trains. Of course the ticket price is more expensive than the executive class train you take. But the ticket price is commensurate with the services provided. Hopefully you can try it another time.
