    Hey Mike do you have a suggestion of Mandolin model for small hands?

    • @MikeHeddingMusic
      @MikeHeddingMusic  Год назад +1

      Most mandolins in general will work well for someone with smaller hands. I'd recommend trying to find a mandolin that doesn't have a wide nut which would make playing a little harder. - Mike

    Is there a website that is similar to Ultimate Guitar, but has songs for the mandolin?

    • @MikeHeddingMusic

      Not quite as extensive but check out Mandozine or Mandolin Cafe. They both have some good resources.

    So it’s upside down ? I play guitar a bit ?

    • @MikeHeddingMusic
      @MikeHeddingMusic  4 года назад

      It's the same way most guitar tab is written out. The lowest string E (in pitch) is on the bottom. The highest string E (in pitch) is on the top of the tab. Same with mandolin tab. So it's G, D, A, E from lowest sounding string to highest. - Mike

    I thought it was e a d g

    • @MikeHeddingMusic
      @MikeHeddingMusic  4 года назад

      If you're going from the highest pitched string to the lowest pitched, yes it's E, A, D, G. Most times though you say the tuning from the lowest sounding string first so that's G, D, A, E.

      You can click the bottom right gear icon and crank up the playback speed if it's going too slow for you. Keep picking. - Mike
