Amtrak Empire Builder 8 Arriving/ Departing La Crosse WI

This is a video from January 12th, 2020 when I was able to shoot the Amtrak arriving and departing the La Crosse WI Amtrak Station. The train came in about 3 hours late.

Locomotive 187!! That's MY loco!!! That 187 was the only locomotive pulling the Capitol Limited on 6/3/20 from Toledo to Washington DC. Then 187 was the helper locomotive on the Crescent from DC to Greensboro. For the record, loco #79 pulled the Carolinian from Greensboro to Wilson where I took the Thruway to Greenville, NC. On my return trip up north, on 6/20/20, Locomotive 181 led the Carolinian from Wilson to Greensboro, THEN 187 was the lead locomotive on the Crescent back from Greensboro to DC!!!!. So 187 pulled 3 trains on my journey this summer. Locomotives 59 and 99 led the Capitol Limited from Washington DC to Toledo.
