i mean this from the bottom of my heart, this is by far the most straightforward and effective method of frequency separation and dodge n burn from all the tutorials i've watched and yes i'm comparing these methods to those used by guys like aaron from phlearn and unmesh from piximperfect

I really enjoyed this video because you show the before and after shots. Too many videos only show the after, or as a put it, the glossy brochure presentation, but I can never get them to show the before shots, so thank you for this.
What I don't like to see is too much retouching where the face look like a mannequin. Some people go overboard with this stuff and they shot looks unnatural.
I find reducing orange on dark skin to works also.

Hi Thankyou so much prince meyson for xplaining every detail. I have learnt a great deal about correcting skin tones mostly in dark tones. It ll be really helpful if u could also show this about medium and light skin tones as in what changes should be done to achieve that magazine skin tone look. As in the saturation or which colors to decrease and increase. thankyou

Prince. I will like you to do a retouch using surface blur. They say surface blur holds more details.
Really good tutorial. Personally, I wouldn't flatten the layers so I could go back and edit if needed, but that's because I answer to clients.
