OK finally found a tutorial that breaks it down from start to finish! An added bonus that it's on a woman of color as it makes it more relatable to editing my own pictures. Thank you so much!
i mean this from the bottom of my heart, this is by far the most straightforward and effective method of frequency separation and dodge n burn from all the tutorials i've watched and yes i'm comparing these methods to those used by guys like aaron from phlearn and unmesh from piximperfect
So far so Good this is the best tutorial I seen on RUclips that covers frequency separating, dodge n burn, colors balance in a very simple context. Thanks a lot Boss
I think this should be ur best detailed photo retouching tutorials so far, I have learn almost basically all what I have been wanting to learn from u Sir. U are great , I love this
Hi Brother. I am from Istanbul. 45 yo. and wanted to put my career in other direction as I don`t feel like I`m happy with it. photography was always in my mind and I found your channel on You tube started from scratch with your tutorials and gain knowledge. I just wanted to let you know that I have so much appreciation for you. Thanks again.
I've watched other tutorials using fancy terms and a more complex approach and none really worked for me... I like that yours is simple and yet it proved to be very effective. Thank you Prince.
I saw that it was 30 minutes and was like “oh no I’m gonna fall asleep” but you were so informative and it didn’t drag that I watched the whole thing and learned a lot. Thank you
Hi Thankyou so much prince meyson for xplaining every detail. I have learnt a great deal about correcting skin tones mostly in dark tones. It ll be really helpful if u could also show this about medium and light skin tones as in what changes should be done to achieve that magazine skin tone look. As in the saturation or which colors to decrease and increase. thankyou
I've watched a lot of tutorials and i think your tutorial on this is on point. Taken my photos to another layer. I have to build a cheat sheet till I master this process. About the accent... I totally understand what you say. I am a new subscriber to your channel. can't wait to see more. Thanks again.
Great tutorial, man! One of the very few that doesn't try to sell actions, LUTs or whatever. Btw I really like your accent! Just found the channel, already a subscriber. Keep it up!
Great work man my work flow had really improved since I discovered your channel. By the way love the accent and yes I tried the golden effect on the skin and it's amazing keep the videos coming, you got fans all over even in the Caribbean.
I really enjoyed this video because you show the before and after shots. Too many videos only show the after, or as a put it, the glossy brochure presentation, but I can never get them to show the before shots, so thank you for this. What I don't like to see is too much retouching where the face look like a mannequin. Some people go overboard with this stuff and they shot looks unnatural. I find reducing orange on dark skin to works also.
thank u so much for not making this video not longer or more detailed than needed. all other videos on the internet about beauty retouching are for beginners. they tell and tell and tell ... explain everything ... every shortcut .... making the video long and boring. you sir just got it right !!
I love your tutorial it is the best that I've seen and I love that you use models of color. Keep up the great work, you definitely have a new subscriber.
hi prince meyson. thanks for the tutorial, I've been following your tutorial and I got stuck at 5:10 where you clipped the image due to its sharpness. what shortcut did you use. I can figure out how to clip an image. Please help. thanks
Hi Mr MEYSON, I am a huge fan of your work, I have been following the tutorial, and I am practicing with the raw images you provided, the issue i am facing is the mixer brush distorts the face. I am using the same settings as you. Do you happen to know what's causing this? I am using a Huion H1060P graphic tablet
Wow, dude you are absolutely amazing. So well explained, not overdone at all and so simple to follow. This video is going to be my go to while i master this. Thank you
Thanks So much you are really doing a great job. Pls there no shortcut to frequency seperation without separate layers, just using the grucian blue directing? And using dodging brush direct and burning direct without separate layers?
Prince Meyson just gave out what others will charge 60k for free.. God bless your Ministry Boss
I don't think there's a more detailed tutorial on this anywhere on RUclips.

Prince. I will like you to do a retouch using surface blur. They say surface blur holds more details.
can you please explain the colors you using when you start to use the mixer brush because i see you have black and like a navy blue
Any reason on why you used white mixer brush rather that make it transparent?
