I've heard people ask why the records of the 50s and 60s got that lush sound, and this is literally the answer. No digital reverb, they'd have huge halls or echo chambers, sometimes complicated tunnels, miked and mixed in with the original source sound to give it this dreamy quality.
Beautifully played, and a beautiful quality. Thanks for this!

@@BTTRSWYT It is quite amazing tho is it not? The intelligence and creativity to find ideas like that, to create something like that without a machine. @@timg8257you think that bc it exists now. During that time, it was a novel idea. Who would take their instrument to a tunnel to randomly play when they can play at home and sound just fine? It’s not abt how complicated it is, it’s abt how novel and how strange it is to even think of. In fact, it was probably found accidentally, not on purpose.

The entire city has disappeared in a flash. You're scavenging the streets - atleast what's left of it - sorting through irradiated piles of debris, some of them are still warm from the intense energy of the blast years ago. All you found were rubble and silhouettes of street signs, cars, buildings, and people.
Stumbling home in despair, you start to hear the dreamy tunes of a song that's long been forgotten since the world collapsed in its own hubris. Though you don't exactly remember, you recognise it. Memories from a long, long time ago... He's here to pick me up.
Never been a fiction writer before, so I apologize for the bad articulation. Someone please create a better novel ending than this

i just find them to be so fascinating and cool... its certainly not the only music i listen to, but its really interesting to figuratively go back in time and get into the headspace of the people who were my age *back then.* you know?

Ngl, this song made me cry a little. I had a good childhood growing up with the same friend group for years, and when one of my best mates stopped chatting, i got quite sad. Recently, however, he came over the other day, and we caught up again after the holidays. We chatted long into the night about life school, his girlfriend, etc. by a fire we made it brought back old memories this song was playing while we chatting . thank you for this video i appreciate it alot😊

It feels like out of nowhere youre sitting on the floor watching cartoons on a sunday and eating a home cooked meal from your mom, feeling a warm sensation travel throughout your body. It that isnt peace then i dont know what is

A while ago I went to the abandoned pa turnpike. Thought it’d be fun to walk the whole thing in a day, and tbh, it was.
I had a cassette player on me, with a couple songs loaded up. Fallout style old times beats. One song was “house of the rising sun”
I was walking through a tunnel, it was over a mile and a half long. And I see lights. One flickers. It’s people. I let the song play, then stop my music. Then I hear it.
They play it back. To say it sounded majestic would be a massive understatement. It’s was beyond words. The guitar sounded like a trumpet. It was distorted and otherworldly. Phenomenal
A memory I will surely never forget
