Are there any brands youd recommend for a tv cabinet? I have a haleavy lg g4 65" tv and the stand i jad it on started cracking die to the weight. It has a center tv stand so all the weight would be focuse on the middle of the cabinet

@pogolas a laminate top would certainly be more durable than solid wood or veneer for a desk.

How thin would you consider a veneer.
@@ChadVanryn 1/52" (.6mm) is most common, but veneers from 50 years ago seem to be slightly thicker.
So you're saying a veneer actually is more durable long-term?
@@nikilragav yes. Solid wood will warp & separate at the joints after a number of years. Veneered furniture remains stable.
