Can you upload individual rips of all parts of Spider’s String - Second Movement? The second, third, and fourth parts are some good stuff but I’d like to have those separate from each other and the first part
@@manuelmateo3392 mb on 1st playthrough, but on subsequent ones, to me, the game became too big a chore to care about music anymore. Guess that's normal tho. Heck, i remember speedrunning a cycle in remaster within a day.
this amazing song has a criminally low play count! someday Atlus will rerelase Digital Devil Saga and people will realize how awesome the whole OST is.
Honestly, I think it's because of how exhausted a lot of players were by the time they reached this point. If you struggled through Samsara Tunnels for the optional content it's not bad at all but if you're not used to that kind of labyrinthine design, the Karma Temple can definitely break you.
This dungeon took so long to beat but once you get to the last room where gale asks if you're fully prepared and make it outside that's one of the most invigorating moments in this game
It's nice to see an upload of this song that incorporates with 3rd segment in with the uncompressed parts of the song! I just dont understand why the CD OST releases of Nocturne and DDS are incomplete.
The two tracks that sound better in game compared to the soundtrack are Karma Society Tower and the Sun in DDS2. They have a slightly higher pitch and/or more vibrant.
I used to add this track into various playlists and CDs so often, that my friends came to call it "The Eternal Epic Build Up." Given it's original use, not exactly incorrect!
Tartarus is also very similar in that, even Tartarus and Karma Temple are similar, since in both cases they involve climbing giant towers and the music changes as you climb the floors
I only survived since I fully upgraded seraph. Now I'm on the hidden bosses segment of the post game. But the music sounds cool since it has a slow start, transition, and gradual build up.
@@justinmckenzie3318 that’s what I love about the SMT games, including Persona , where there are different variations of music tracks the further you progress into a dungeon.
Re-uploaded since I added the missing 3rd Movement and a proper loop to the 4th movement, both of which weren't present in the original upload.
Are you going to take down the original video, or re-name it in some way?
dude where is the 3rd movement i'm looking for it where is it?

Is this the same full mix uploaded by Jeepy? Have all four sections of this track been ripped (and uploaded) separately?

Love how this song starts deconstructed and is pieced together gradually as you ascend the tower....
...kinda like cturne's Tower of Kagutsuchi from Atlus' previous (to DDS) game, but a bit less epic. Or epic in a different way.

i hope if they do release dds1 and 2 for switch after nocturne, they're bundled together and the price reflects that
They already did so, but maybe they'll do it again. Eh, we'll see.

@@YayaBeanz Being the longest dungeon in the game with tougher enemies and magic wall puzzles, the Karma Temple can really test your patience.
@@gene6794 honestly the dungeon puzzles weren't that bad.

Excellent and underrated tune, love how Meguro took the idea of dungeon music getting more complex as you progressed from Nocturne and expanded on it.
Gets me teary eyed.

The 3rd and 4th parts ♥♥
This was both the best and the worst part of the game all at the same time, idk how
Being ass blasted with ailments could be a proper explanation as to why the Karma tower was somewhat ridiculous.
fucking lakshmi and their dormina+calm death combo
Fck me, the Karma Tower can be pretty hard if you’re not prepared with the right set of skills for your party.
