Stem Deviate can actually be a super important piece for the deck. Boosting a Rising Dragon always lets it break a guard tier, and then its effect can give +2k to an Urseltje/Breathing Dragon column to break another guard tier. That extra 10k shield the opponent needs for the turn has definitely won me games before, so I'm a bit surprised to see you not run it. It also fills soul, and doesn't leave a card on the field to be retired.
First. And Yes, Luquier is actually strong & this iteration is possibly the best version she has ever been. It's a 3 to 4 attack deck (possibly the only downfall, if I remember correctly G Luquier can actually goes up to 6 attack). But it is so consistent cuz you're basically filling up your board for attacks, & cleaning up when your turn ends, & your hand size is genuinely not a problem. Possibly a 3 to 4 copies of Ashur-da would help, (cutting down either Rising Dragon, Falcate & the order to 3, possibly replacing Ling as well), cuz you'll possibly run out of Lilian, & Ashurda will send himself to soul everytime you guard with it, which means you can recall it next turn
He’s playing on PC. The game is called Vanguard Dear Days. I do find the game enjoyable. However, I do not recommend buying it because base game itself is $69.99 or more I’m not sure. Then the DLC additional card pass 1 and 2 (both are separate purchases) both cost $65+ I believe. Note that buying the additional card pass is way more cheaper than buying each set.
I wish you'd go through all the cards in the deck, as someone new to this game I have no idea what the cards are, this content is no beginner friendly.
I think the cards he didn't mention are ones that are staples in every deck in the game 4x -Sentinels :Units that block any 1 attack at the cost of discarding 1 card from hand. 16 triggers -Units with effects that trigger if revealed from Vanguard attacking or Vanguard being hit. I get what you mean but it's staples of every deck since 2011(?).
Love Luquier, Nemain and Macha ever since the first anime. Never forget the first waifus
Luquier was my third fav waifu from OG vanguard, only behind Minerva and Salome.

It’s funny, I just got the last 2 cards and completed this deck today! 😂 Good to have a reference on how to make plays with this deck.
