Saving your pepper plants for next year

We are getting a frost tonight so we decided to bring our pepper plants inside. Normally pepper plants are considered annuals because they don’t come back after the frost. But, if you prune them, pot them, bring them inside, and replant them in the spring, you will be ahead of the game and getting peppers a lot earlier than if you had started new plants from seed.
