It’s gotta suck to just be remembered as the sister of a famous beauty and the girl who was passed over as a bride. That said, Sisi’s life was generally tragic and miserable, so maybe Helena got lucky not having to marry into that family!
Much like the late poor Princess Diana. She probably would've been better off if she'd married a regular English bloke, not then Prince Charles. Sisi seems to have been the Diana of her time.
The one sister that fell in love with her gynecologist and then was punished for it by being sent to an asylum. I am simultaneously laughing and crying.😂😭
I absolutely love the details and research that goes into each of these incredibly fascinating and highly educational historical videos. I learn so much. Thank you for covering the siblings of Sisi's. ❤ I had no idea she had so many siblings. As always, another fantastic video. 📚📖
I always had a soft spot for Sisi and could relate her struggle for belonging and wanting to keep her looks. I’m twenty years old, but I’ve been struggling with body and beauty issues since sixteen and didn’t eat very often and was obsessed with staying thin and beautiful as I was in a relationship with a twenty nine year old at the time.
I'm really sorry to hear that you're struggling. I'm very sure that you are absolutely gorgeous. I hope you have the necessary support around you to tackle what you are struggling with... Please know that this community loves and respects you, and we think you are gorgeous just the way you are ❤
Thank you for providing a video of Sisi’s other, less well known, siblings. I like your videos and thank you for providing interesting content for your viewers to enjoy. :)
Dear Kings of France, many thanks for the video! Your work encourages me to get to know more and more about history of European royals! Wish your videos would be longer!!! Of course, I would love to get to know more about Empress Sissi’s siblings life in your presentation! Best regards ❤❤👏🙏
Thanks so much for your super kind comment. I make very short videos, I know, but sadly, it's all I have time for if I want to release one video per week.
It must have been a Bavarian trait because King Ludwig of Bavaria, Sisi and her siblings had a distinctive squarish hairline. Sisi's sisters were also quite attractive. Ironically Helene and Sophie were fated to not marry their first marriage prospect.
Great video as always ❤️ I just feel like you left out so much about Carl Theodor, his family for example. His daughter became queen of Belgians, and has descendants in royal houses of Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg
Hi, awesome live history video. I enjoyed it. How are you and cute Rani your cat doing? I'm doing well. My cat Benjamin says hi to you and cute Rani your cat, Benjamin sends his purrs. he's doing well. My cat Benjamin hates when we have bad weather. He goes and hides. Does Rani your cat run and hid when there's bad weather? Have a great day. See you next video. Your history videos are always enjoyable 😊
So happy to hear your and Benjamin are doing well. Rani and I are enjoying a lazy sunday, it's rainy outside so she's napping on the couch with me... Please hug Benjamin for us !
Sis offered her daughter for her Brother to get who je wants?! Her children didn't benefit from having her as a mother. Nor did monarhy..but she is good now for tourism.

I think she indeed dodged a bullet. Life in the spotlight like that is anything but amusing methinks.

Sophie. Interesting life, and even "invented" a new identification method after her death. And I did not know there were so many siblings.
It was indeed quite interesting to hear about the forensic dentistry, I agree !
