- We finally got the big turbo kit installed form klm race and this thing is about to be insane!!! A few more parts on the way and this thing will be rippin before you know it!

Put the headlight back in guys, also ceramic coat the headers, dump pipe and rear housing of the turbo. It will manage the heat way better.
I never Powder coated anything that would get as hot as a Turbo will, won't it burn off.

White powder coat will yellow even without heat.
Guys, everything looks super good, but please, both headlamps look way better. Just make or adapt vents in the hood. I love the idea of powder coat in white
You should rotate the center housing of the turbo so that the oil feed is straight up in the 12 o'clock position. Reason being is that the oil drain needs to be a 6 o'clock so that the oil can drain quickly enough back into the oil pan. When you have it like you have it now, the oil won't drain fast enough and the oil will backup inside the turbo and it will start coming out of the seals and it'll make smoke in the exhaust. I worked at Turbonetics (partners with Precision Turbo) for 8 years and have seen many turbos fail because the center housing isn't clocked at 12 o'clock or close to it.
Guys, normally everything you two pull off is just awesome. This one is, mostly, awesome, but go with two headlights.
Temporary use your ears maybe check your getting enough air intake
Without the light it looks horrendous, put the light back and make vents in the hood

Hey guys, whenever you put a new turbo on you want to be 100% sure that its getting oil to it. You want to disable the injectors, remove the feed line (or if it is easily accessible you can just crack if lose) put an empty water bottle at the end if you remove the line completely, crank the engine over till you see oil coming out. Tighten the line and you are good to go. You can damage a turbo shaft even if you run it for a little bit without oil. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks for the awesome content and all the laughs you have provided for many years!

Why! 100% keep the vent for what they're building. Specially in hot weather. Functionality over looks! Big turbo setup will love the fresh air.

yeah I have to say I am SUPER not a fan of the taking out the headlight, #1 it is illegal ( to my knowledge, I think a police officer can pull you over and give you a ticket to fix it ) #2 I am not a fan of modifying something that has a real purpose IE removing headlights, brake lights etc., would be fine if this was ONLY a track car #3 just look's weird, doesn't look cool HOWEVER!!!! These are MY thoughts and you should never modify your car based on anyone's thoughts and likes but your own, so if this modification makes you happy or you like it then I am ok with it ( just make sure to do your research and make sure it is legal to run with one headlight like that )

These guy's just wanna be like Matt Armstrong but have no idea what's going on.
You better get a filter on that Turbo. Don't want to suck in any dirt. And I doubt the police are going to like the no headlight look. Absolutely love the wheels. That car is a beast.
The twin turbos may not be as loud but they spool up much faster. One large turbo makes more noise but the turbo lag will be much greater.
They think they're smarter than the best German automotive engineers. Ordered some aftermarket stuff off of eBay and expect to improve on actual engineering.

That “big” turbo isn’t very big. It will still spool pretty quick
@@viperfanatic13but nowhere near as quick as the twins will. They could have saved a lot of money and just tuned the car and made the same power or more.
@P-J-W-777 it won't be that far off with tuning. Either way, quick and zippy isn't what you're looking for if you're putting drag radials on... that single turbo is way better equipped for the straight line driving they're planning on doing

Baby blue powder coat the turbo like the brakes. And keep the head lights not just one but both of them on which will look madder as. The head light vent looked good ish but it won’t beat the headlights that you have on the bmw. So plz stick to the head lights.
I like the blue also 💙 it sticks with the M color pattern also do a poll headlight or no headlight . I like the headlights better. Might also thro some codes if the light is missing?

@theofficialfuzzy4231 Well, yeah, it's their car they can do what they want with it. It's just my opinion that both headlights look better, is all. My opinion isn't fact. Also, I know it allows more airflow, but I just think it looks better with both headlights. Maybe they can give the turbo more airflow a different way.

You guys should think about buying a powder coat machine. They are small, portable, relatively cheap, 100v or 220v setups, and easy to use. I use an old kitchen oven for baking and have done wheels, misc. engine parts, and a few other non-automotive odds and ends.
I love the one headlight for track mode. Old school drag racing vibes.

I dont normally comment, but those smaller rims with FAT tires look SICK, finally were moving away from those thin rubber bands of tires. Also the mods are perfect. one of the nicest m3 out rn.

You’ve got like 10 places to put the turbo intake so you chose the headlight 😂
For high horsepower vehicles you want to go in a star pattern for the bead locks so you have an even strength for the psi

You should send the car to Fluid Motor Unions in Naperville, Illinois for the exhaust. They are experts on getting the exhaust sounding super good.

I actually prefer the drivability of 2 smaller turbos. A lag free experience is great for a daily driver. I've had I-4 NA and turbocharged, V-6 NA, roots supercharged, centrifugal supercharged and twin turbocharged and V8 NA and Cammed. My favorite of the bunch was the V6 twin turbocharged as it had lots of power and no lag. Second is the built N/A v8, and third was the centrifugal v6.

This is a race car not a show car and having a light delete is awesome some people just don’t realize it’s for performance purposes not for show
Love the sound of that turbo spool. I think blue would be better than white under the hood. I think white would get stained too easily and discolored from heat.

KEEP Twin Turbos, Spool Up much Faster, and give Flatter Torque Curve. NOBODY wants Huge LAG and then sudden increase at 4000RPM or higher with single oversize Turbo
all they care about is the dyno number, this will be on the lift in the back in 2 weeks and then never get touched again.
The manual alone makes this one of my favorite builds ever.

I like the open air intake headlight, the smoked tail lights are not nice however, OEM looks much nicer.
