This with a Galvo? Is it a specific project or it is not working period? If you have additional info such as project, version, (any extra detail), send it over to support@lightburnsoftware.com.
When I frame, the laser uses cutting power. Even when the dot is stationary it uses the cutting power %. Is there a way to program it to frame at a lower speed? I know with GRBL there is but can't find anything similar for GALVO.
When I try to frame, the actual laser fires instead of the red diode. I just downloaded the latest version of the software last week and imported the EZCAD Markcfg7 file. Why does this happen?
Looking at their install: support.laserpecker.net/hc/en-us/articles/7638927193231-Setup-Operating-LightBurn-with-LaserPecker-LP4 They have it setup as a gcode device so it will have box and rubberband framing. It will not have contour framing.
I noticed when you laser is firing, the red dot is still on. is there a way to enable this? My laser does not do this even though I have the "red dot always on" enabled in machine settings
The red dot on while engraving is something that is dependent on the machine. If you do have the setting enabled and it is not on while engraving the hardware does not support it.
my lightburn keeps starting the project when I press frame instead of framing it. It doesnt move the red lasers at all and just fires the fiber marker. Any ideas?
Is there any reason why I try to use contour framing and it doesn’t outline anything?

My contour on galvo isn’t working either…No matter what I try (SVG, etc)

If this is happening it is most likely a hardware fault of some kind. LightBurn never turns on the laser source when framing on DSP or galvo devices.

How do I get my frame to “flash” like that on my fiber galvo? Currently, it is just a static outline. Thanks!
In real life, it's static. It only looks like it's flashing because the laser updates faster than the camera can record it.
Lightburn software support ...? Xy motorized table system.. fiber laser marking machine?
Is this available for the LaserPecker 4?

Turn off your “Start Marking” port - set to None for now. The next release has eliminated the false triggers for this.
Is there any plans for lightburn to control cnc routers ?
Eventually yes.
Is there a time line for adding galvo uv operations through lightburn?
