Trying TORCHBEARER Hot Sauces! | Hot Ones Sauce!

Today Phat and Spicy try another hot sauce that has made its way on Hot Ones many times. The Torchbearer hot sauce set comes with Garlic Reaper Sauce, Son of a Zombie sauce, and Zombie Apocalypse sauce. zombie apocalypse is at 500,000 scovlles,garlc reaper is at 116,000 scovlles,son of zombie is at 37,000 scovlles,the apocalypse now is a creeper with the heat from my experience,but love all three of them flavours

You sure that the zombie apocalypse is 500,000 SHUs of heat? That sounds way too high. I just decided to start trying genuinely hot sauces and just bought a bottle of it which came today. Tried it, and honestly yeah it's pretty damn hot compared to the local grocery store Louisiana hot sauce that might be like 500-800 Scovilles that I literally drench all of my food in, but I don't feel like it's the kind of hot sauce that will make a grown man cry, y'know? Half a million scovilles sounds like a super hot ass hot sauce. I'd be surprised if it really was anywhere near that. I can see it being 100,000 which I think that I read. The numbers are always just guesstimates anyway, right?

Just went back and checked and it does say 500,000. But you’re right, Scoville is a funny thing. Not the most accurate

Yea we have figured out that you can’t go by the Scoville level. We have had one that rank hire and were nothing. The one thing that makes the difference is if it is an extract.

@@saitama3795 yeah im pretty sure its 500,000 but ive had mad dog 357 which is 357,000 scovilles and is a killer compared to zombie apocalypse which is 500,000 which has a good flavour and you can enjoy and use it regularly still packs a puncg in the heat department,unlike da bomb and mad dog 357 which is a mouth burner because of the pepper extracts,like the final dab,its 2,000,000 but still a good flavour and barable heat,the bomb has a new hot sauce,i think it has no pepper extracts and high on scoville rating but has a nice flavour but i havent tried it yet
