Always an enjoyable watch, but I do disagree with a minor point about the fourth story. Yes, the cursed book is horrible, but I still hold that the Netflix live-action adaptation is still the worst Death Note.
I was really triggered at the first episode when I watched it. When I was in HS, I always brought all my textbooks at school without complaining and even without a curse lol. I enjoy these kind of stories. Generally speaking; I don't enjoy when the story has evil win in the end because "it is scarier". It annoys me more than anything. But when it comes to a person's own karma that brings about their own destruction? That is different. Hard not to like a good Monkey's Paw story. @@leritykay8911 Of course. To each their own. I could say the same. I like seeing good people outsmart an evil cult or a supernatural entity or frigging Bigfoot going DOOM 2016 on a horde of Wendigos with such ferocity that the Wendigo SPIRIT runs away (yes, this was an actual movie). I feel bad when people fall for death traps; especially brutal ones like slowly, ever so slowly, being crushed to death or having their skin ripped off while alive or having their ribcage torn open or acid poured down their throats or inflating until they rupture or twisted into a mangled lump or...well...you get my point. Both our points can cross over into the other. Funny, right? I like conversations like that. Anyroad, in conclusion, like what you like. Just because I prefer horror doesn't mean I hate all death games. But yeah, it's just a preference thing. @@leritykay8911 To be fair; Midsommar is bad, not even going to try to defend that one lol. I simply stated cult because it isn't necessarily tied to a death game, was just naming other types of movie themes. Trust me; I get annoyed when the cult just so happens to be in every single aspect of a town, like being in the police force, and the protag doesn't realize it until it is too late. Cult movies specifically can be made worse for that reason alone, the writer can just be lazy af with that. Case in point-The dread of you don't know who to trust because everyone MIGHT be in it but instead everyone IS in it. Ruins any potential drama and twist when they all do that "grand and original reveal". But I digress. I don't care too much what type of movie it is; as long as there is some 9th Dimensional Chess moves somewhere (preferably subtly throughout and coalesce at the climax) and the heroes don't have the combined brain power of 11 lobotomized lemmings (I also despise when the protags are mentally deficit JUST to make the movie work); chances are I'll at least survive the movie runtime.
@@Ethonra Yeah. While it's not a movie, one of the best *games* that does this I think is Your Turn To Die. The whole cast is important in some way, and they all try to contribute. Everyone makes good points and observations from time to time
Idk about the story about the box. If it's attached to a curse then moving it might not work. Just look at other cursed boxes. Whenever someone tries to get rid of it, it always comes back
The box itself isn’t attached to the curse. It’s where all the photos and instructions were stored but the box isn’t involved in the curse really. It’s more like a spell that you have to cast. Also, I don’t know if the foot going rotten was the spell backfiring or not but she used the spell to kill the girl that died in the beginning too.
@@paytonyoder1260 The spell didn't backfire on her. She got haunted and died because at the end of the episode, we can see that the boy who saw his sister's name written on her foot, also chanted and did the same to the her.
@@espionagemmelisa I’m aware that the boy cursed her. But unlike the other victims that were cursed you can see her foot has rotted and that’s when the show decides to bring up the backfiring of the spell. Which makes me think the foot rotting was part of the backfiring, same with the sisters name reappearing on her foot after the sister died.
For the last one the reason why he didn’t wish for something that could benefit him it’s probably because he was filled with rage because he was strapped on to the wheel chair and was being bullied
For the sixth story, I would have wished the bullies lived long lives with only regret on their minds. This is not a killing blow, but it would still give the revenge I wanted. And because there are no dead bodies, there is nothing the ghost can take.
Never really seen any bullying to that extreme in my twelve years of school here. The worst I’ve seen is quite mild. Ghost stories in schools are very prominent though.
I LOVE that the opening for this was so vague. "WHAT IF YOU WER A STUDENT AND YOUR SCHOOL WAS HAUNTED BY GHOSTS, THEN WHAT" First off, I have a *lot* of questions. Second, if that's all the info I get, I'm just gonna go scream in a corner until the winning team pulls me onto their side.
Love the new channel name! It really helps show that it’s a guide channel rather than a summary channel (if that’s what your going for) and it’s a great change for this great channel. Have a damn good day!
Funny thing - Just saw the series with my best friend when you uploaded this series. We liked the episodes 4, 6 & 8 the most. The headless teacher was hilarious & thw other two really cool
For me this is what will happen for each story (also the bullying problem ain't just in Thailand but in most East Asian country, and since this series is school base that is an easier plot point) 1. For this story I agree with you when watching the episode I said the same thing, but the kid wouldn't need to tell is future self to do anything since the cutse from what we see is erasing the STUDENTS, so he'll be able to do this normally. 2. The girl had put a curse on someone else before and since she did it before and her feet was fine then how is it the second time cause her feet to rot, I think the curse when implement on the victim they'll be tortured mentally before death, so the feet rotting can be apart of it as well. 3. I have nothing for this one. 4. Yeah this is an inappropriate book and for real sus how the Liberian never took it out, and unless we can do what you said pretty sure we can't survive this. 5. The kid is just straight up dumb and why would he do this, and yeah nothing to add. 6. For this one within the curse it was never specify that we can or cannot choose a body leat to decay, so if we can then we might be able to choose the parts that you said, BUT since it is never specify (cause the idiot never ask for the consequences, even though EVERY curse has a consequence) its safe to assume that he make wishes on anger would've die hard.
In the last story, intimidating someone to make a wish in bound to backfire. If I as an mean bully, it would be smarter to manipulate someone into thinking they are my BFF, them convince them to make a wish for me (I might even wait for something go to happen to them and said I wished it, them ask them to wish for something nice for me, therefore sutbely guilting them into doing so)
I'd be a bit more...devious. Conditions: 1) We're assuming there is a reciprocity to the last story's curse. If you want X, Y must be done in return. 2) We have a bunch of bullies that clearly need a tail whipping, so what's the best method of dealing with them? What I would do: I would wish for a series of unfortunate events, nonlethal mind you, to dog each bully. I would add the condition that the curse can be removed with an earnest and sincere apology and face heel turn. Essentially, there is a deadman switch built into the wish that would mirror 'Forgive and forget.' to ensure no untoward consequences. Bullies will not usually apologize, so any consequences are solely on them. The curse is just the instrument to deliver those consequences. 'Equivalent exchange' and all that.
@@seancarroll9849 actually we dont have to deal with bullies dont waste wishes on bullies i would wish for a sweet loving cat that would die if i die(i know its messed up but the cat would be sad if i die or i would be sad if the cat dies)you can just report bullies to principal
Regarding story 2: Using magic as an assassination weapon is a no go in most magic systems. If you try it, there is a good chance it will actually come back for you after finishing its task. You always have an action and a reaction, so a price of life is life as well... The ethical way of using magic on others is just to help without asking for money in return (basically any compensation - Wicca). The only way magic should be used to hurt others is in self defense but there are generally more effective ways to fuck someone up without getting the bad boy points...
the last one was more of a blessing instead of a curse (if you dont wish for some persons death), like if there are no consequences its basically just a genie but scarier amd darker
@@falsnamae3511 real genies are extremely diverse in appearance. They can look like monkeys, birds, people to anything in between or something completely different.

Having gone through relentless bullying in middle school since I went back to Japan, I do understand why there are so many bullying stories with teachers doing nothing about it, like the justice system in Michael Bay movies. It is a reality for many, and definitely is something that haunts them for the next decade.
Hi, Thai here. Yep in thailand we have a lot of bullying problems. Its commonly happen in elementary but can continue to happen in high-school. Bully here can bullying you for literally anything.

I remember watching the story where the teacher get beheaded, its actually pretty funny and wholesome, the teacher was kinda nice, she just wanted her head back(that other teacher twist was something else)
for the last story the trade seems to be really fair tbh, make a evil wish, recieve an evil consequence, i would do exactly that, ask what i can do and what the consequences are, bc you can get revenge in a huge number of ways without directly asking for their deaths, u could just make some drugs appear in their bags, in thailand drug possession is a heavy crime, it could even lead to death penalty, but since they're minors i doubt they would recieve this penalty, and since they wouldnt die from directly from her hands maybe no body parts would be taken from me, then i would ask for the hospital to be renovated so she can have a nice place to haunt for her eternity bc i'm a grateful person

If he didn't win, he would live a terrible life, but as in every movie the main character's plot armor is too thick."
What's very interesting about the last story is that you get multiple wishes. If we knew this going in the first wish would be to know all the rules of the ritual. After that it's easy mode
I would outsmart the ghost in the last story easily. The ghost didn't make any limits for the wish at all. So I would wish for a magic lamp. Then I would use this lamp to get super powers. If I am strong enough, the ghost couldn't make my body rot so easily and has to think about another plan.
That would be assuming that the ghost can even grant that wish. The show didn’t go into parameters so it’s unknown, but also there would be a heavy cost I imagine.

Its awlays cool seeong these from different cultures because they have different cliches and its not to common to find english speakers in the community who also speak a different language and willing to show foreign horror content to the Englishbside of the community
In the last tale, he could've wished for superpowers and then used that to beat them up, and he'd still have superpowers even if he decided to kill them or only beat him up!
About the last story, there is one thing the main character should have considered; that myths like that tend to be well known. There would have been countless people who tested it. The moment the ghost appears, there is no doubt the myth is true. So why isn't the world in absolute chaos from the wish making power of this ghost? Where are all the trillionaires and superhumans? Why is there no king of earth? Obviously there must be a heavy price to pay for the wish. If it were me, I'd just wish for the ghost to leave me alone.

Both our points can cross over into the other. Funny, right? I like conversations like that. Anyroad, in conclusion, like what you like. Just because I prefer horror doesn't mean I hate all death games. I have seen one or two I like just as I'm sure there are people that prefer death games, but have seen some horror movies they'd recommend.
@@Ethonra Yea that's fair.
I just also really don't like the cult aestetic. I can't stand crazy religious/satanistic fanstics. I can't watch movies like Midsommar, because I just hate it when people do bad things for such worthless reasons, while believing they are doing good and necessary thing...
But yeah, it's just a preference thing.
Also I do enjoy monsters and such getting outsmarted, but those are usually action scenes, or split second decisions, or something emotional to calm down the ghost. I'm more into slow, drawn out plans, and 1000 IQ plays
On the last one with the ghost nurse I’d just wish for the bullies to be good people. Remember: Modern problems require modern solutions.
For the last one the reason why he didn’t wish for something that could benefit him it’s probably because he was filled with rage because he was strapped on to the wheel chair and was being bullied
no shit Sherlock
This is perfect since school starts in 2 days, i will now learn how to survive school ghosts! Thank you, Cinema Summary very cool!

Going to college in three days
For the sixth story, I would have wished the bullies lived long lives with only regret on their minds. This is not a killing blow, but it would still give the revenge I wanted. And because there are no dead bodies, there is nothing the ghost can take.
But your wish came true, meaning you have to pay🤔
@@harshsahu8348 but what if you only have to pay for evil wishes like killing?
@@StarMisura It won't be an evil wish if you don't follow the plan of killing. Showing mercy would mean the ghost cannot collect any debt from a deal.
@@harshsahu8348 How will the ghost make a person pay if the person showed mercy to the bullies?
So that's why I have to carry around a planner everywhere so I don't get killed by a ghost. Epic
Never really seen any bullying to that extreme in my twelve years of school here. The worst I’ve seen is quite mild. Ghost stories in schools are very prominent though.

I LOVE that the opening for this was so vague. "WHAT IF YOU WER A STUDENT AND YOUR SCHOOL WAS HAUNTED BY GHOSTS, THEN WHAT"
First off, I have a *lot* of questions.
For me this is what will happen for each story (also the bullying problem ain't just in Thailand but in most East Asian country, and since this series is school base that is an easier plot point)
The second one, the girls feet rotting was part of the curse that Boy put on her for killing his sister.
@@yourbabytee yeah that's what I meant when I typed they will be tortured mentally before death
Morals of the story: dont be bullied, dont be a bully and dont piss off the ppl who cook your food
Conditions:
1) We're assuming there is a reciprocity to the last story's curse. If you want X, Y must be done in return.
2) We have a bunch of bullies that clearly need a tail whipping, so what's the best method of dealing with them?
What I would do:
I would wish for a series of unfortunate events, nonlethal mind you, to dog each bully.
@@RobloxTroller609 agree, but I am say if I was one of the bullys. Intimidating the guy into make a wish was dumb of the bullys part

The only way magic should be used to hurt others is in self defense but there are generally more effective ways to fuck someone up without getting the bad boy points...
lol wicca
@@alexfc679 Not the only one with this concept, just the first one that came to mind. Golden dawn does not practice that kind of magic as well...
the last one was more of a blessing instead of a curse (if you dont wish for some persons death), like if there are no consequences its basically just a genie but scarier amd darker

Did cinema summary just say I will have nightmares? HUGE understatement, I am probably about to be haunted by a ghost by the sheer ghostiness of this video
Imagine if all these horror stories were happening in the same universe at the same time.
Couple: Oh, no, we don't want to bring children into this world.
Society: Why?
Couple: *gesticulates wildly in the direction of all the supernatural student murdering*
It's just like IRL, there are so many curses, ghosts, and other supernatural shenanigans that lurk in every corner
So if they can do stories in this, ,then there should be a story on how to beat goosebumps
Okay when he says that she could sell sell the potion for money sounds good but if we turn into a floating head with organs beneath that can only survive by drinking blood or flesh will be absolute chaos
This show has been on my watch list for a couple weeks now and I will definitely watch it after seeing this video as well as seeing that Saint and Seng is in the show. It will be nice to see them in a different environment from what they usually act in.
For the story of the wheel chair I would've just wished for a photographic memory
Having gone through relentless bullying in middle school since I went back to Japan, I do understand why there are so many bullying stories with teachers doing nothing about it, like the justice system in Michael Bay movies. It is a reality for many, and definitely is something that haunts them for the next decade.
I like your content, but promoting Gambling apps seems pretty scummy
Hi, Thai here. Yep in thailand we have a lot of bullying problems. Its commonly happen in elementary but can continue to happen in high-school. Bully here can bullying you for literally anything.
These are very entertaining! If there’s anymore ghost stories available I’d love to hear them!
Hi Cinema Summary! You just uploaded the video and made my day, and I always wait a week just for your video. Thank you for doing these videos! ❤
The Plot Twist of " Vengeful Spell " (Ep2) shocked me so much 😭 I was speechless for a few minutes
The Librarian was more and likely the keeper for the book, she was also probably the dead girl from the bathroom it would make sense.
One other thing these six stores have in common there all at the same school just different grades and years at it.
Have a dam fin day Gang and happy holidays everyone.
I remember watching the story where the teacher get beheaded, its actually pretty funny and wholesome, the teacher was kinda nice, she just wanted her head back(that other teacher twist was something else)
If your haunted by ghosts, I don’t think skipping school will help lol
in the 5th story, you said to attach a camera to repel the ghost. but then the camera will glitch duh like it did in the actual story
for the last story the trade seems to be really fair tbh, make a evil wish, recieve an evil consequence, i would do exactly that, ask what i can do and what the consequences are, bc you can get revenge in a huge number of ways without directly asking for their deaths, u could just make some drugs appear in their bags, in thailand drug possession is a heavy crime, it could even lead to death penalty, but since they're minors i doubt they would recieve this penalty, and since they wouldnt die from directly from her hands maybe no body parts would be taken from me, then i would ask for the hospital to be renovated so she can have a nice place to haunt for her eternity bc i'm a grateful person
hell just not going back may have worked as their didn't seem to be a cost for his first wish
@@briansouthparkstudio1357 So the first wish is free.
@@WFangW likely though it may have been that it was only free because of what was happening to the kid before hand

HowToBeat also be like (for the sponser if it was in a movie/series)
"His first mistake was gambling his life away. The odds of him winning the power ball are 1 to 300 million and above which is why he is the luckiest man in the world. If he didn't win, he would live a terrible life, but as in every movie the main character's plot armor is too thick."
What's very interesting about the last story is that you get multiple wishes. If we knew this going in the first wish would be to know all the rules of the ritual. After that it's easy mode
based on the nurses reaction it seems you get one free wish without consequences
I would outsmart the ghost in the last story easily. The ghost didn't make any limits for the wish at all. So I would wish for a magic lamp. Then I would use this lamp to get super powers. If I am strong enough, the ghost couldn't make my body rot so easily and has to think about another plan.
or just get the power to kill the ghost. its far easier and less risky since if the ghost is alive it can always come back to try and kill you later
That would be assuming that the ghost can even grant that wish. The show didn’t go into parameters so it’s unknown, but also there would be a heavy cost I imagine.
I would wish to be able to do anything I can think of.

I am surprised your first piece of advice about "how to beat the ghost" wasn't "change schools immediately."
The transition into the sponsor was so good that for the first 5 seconds of it I had no idea it was a sponsor.
Its awlays cool seeong these from different cultures because they have different cliches and its not to common to find english speakers in the community who also speak a different language and willing to show foreign horror content to the Englishbside of the community

FINALLY YOU MADE THIS MOVIE
The amount of films this guy finds is mad
For the last stories' curse, maybe the main character could've wished for what he wants and for no loopholes to exist?
oh god no, hes fallen into "csgo gambling sponsors"
this guys sponsorship transitions are hella smooth
In the last tale, he could've wished for superpowers and then used that to beat them up, and he'd still have superpowers even if he decided to kill them or only beat him up!
The sponsor ad transition lol 😂 Clever
About the last story, there is one thing the main character should have considered; that myths like that tend to be well known. There would have been countless people who tested it. The moment the ghost appears, there is no doubt the myth is true. So why isn't the world in absolute chaos from the wish making power of this ghost? Where are all the trillionaires and superhumans? Why is there no king of earth? Obviously there must be a heavy price to pay for the wish. If it were me, I'd just wish for the ghost to leave me alone.
