Sawmills are an investment, but a much needed tool for building & barter.

I must say living on social security looks mighty good. I’d have to save a long time, get an extra job to pay for that! Well done

Hey If you don`t mind me asking... How much better? There are a few of these in an auction here in Toronto in a couple of weeks. Thanks

@@ganoking1 seems the prices are all over the place , there were 2 up for auction and the other one went for 150 dollars more than i got mine for but you do your homework and decide what you are willing to pay. don't get caught up in the bidding war which a lot of people do. i looked at the cost of this machine from a dealer out the door and then decided what i would pay. don't forget to add taxes and auction fees before you start bidding. i got mine over a thousand cheaper than dealer.

Hey I’m new to looking into sawmills. Are you supposed to cut dry logs or is it ok to cut wet logs as soon as you drop the tree?

Like cutting a branch with a handsaw, green is easier to cut than dry..
