Great calculations Tyler! You and Britney make a delightful team both at work, play, and at home I’m sure. It’s so satisfying to see a young married couple enjoying each other’s company and making money at the same time. Really enjoy all of your videos.
Thanks so much for watching!
Came for the daisy dukes..... stayed for the daisy dukes.
I’m sure he factored in the views. Takes a special man💩
I came for the Dukes as well
and that’s how they make money off of RUclips. Let’s be honest why we are all here, to see dat a$$.
Barely saw cheeks. Them dukes were weak
Ya.. get that effing dude out of there...
If only God had made trees square not round :) I enjoyed this, I love wood working, great to see you working together, thanks for sharing
Been watching your channel for awhile now but just recently subscribed. I have to say that I am very impressed that Brittney is willing and very capable of jumping in and helping on the mill. At the risk of offending I would also like to say that Britney is cuter than a speckled pup under a new red wagon. you guys are a joy to watch. Keep the content coming!
You can't go wrong with a helper like that❤
The attention to safety is second to none. Glad she had those safety glasses around all that rough cut.
Pretty sure the thumbnail accurately depicts how to make money with a sawmill. I have an LT40 and I often wear cutoffs and tank tops on the job as well.😂
I would pay to NOT see that!
Awesome video!! It amazed me that the horizontal blade didn't "bow up" while it cut down the log to square it up. The whole operation was a very fascinating process to watch. I'm very excited to have found your RUclips videos. Thank you for sharing and have a great day. 😊
Thanks for watching!!!
Hard Blistering work in the Summertime South but rewarding as a family business, she’s a pretty helper you got… Safety First around that mill 👍👍
Great to see couples working together. My wife worked beside me for years building houses.
Tyler you certainly got step #4 right. Not only is she a 10 for looks she is a 10 for personality and 11 for hard work. I'm sure you are proud to have her and her to have you. Keep making these great videos and I will surely keep watching.
Thanks so much!
You are very welcome@@wallacefarmandsawmill
That’s a lot of steps for finished material. Bunks on either side of off feed will help, Brit is great partner
😅
@@wallacefarmandsawmilleq!
Man, I envy you, beautiful helper wonderful home, you are truly blessed
You two are a great team. I didn't realize that when you sized them width that the machine cut both edges. Saw that when you had the camera on Brittney's end where she was taking them off the machine to stack. Very cool set up. I have been watching you guys for about six months and did not realize I was not subscribed. As far as liking your videos, I love watching you two. Stay Blessed in 2024.
Great job guys,very nice!
Thanks so much!
Good stuff guys.
You two do a great job at everything you do, and I enjoy all of your content. As an old guy who worked as a lineman for the power company my whole life around noisy equipment, let me offer a little advice to help you later on in life. Wear some good ear protection while working the equipment. The old guys I worked with when I was young harped on me about protecting my back, eyes and knees and I'm glad I listened, because I have no trouble with any of them. However, I do have Tinnitus (ringing in my ears). Never wore ear plugs is why. I mainly just hear it when it gets quiet at night. Y'all keep up the good work!
Very nicely done Brittany and Tyler! I am impressed that you were able to get 30 1x10's out of that log. Have a great weekend!
Thanks so much!
i thought he said 33
@@williamdyersr2096 I think you are right, William.
@@ssprofirewood He said 30 3/4 X whatever;
I guessed it was going to be a large live edge coffee table LOL. When I was a young fellow I worked in a saw mill with my great uncle to saw lumber for him to build a boat for my father. Interesting channel instant subscriber here , wish I was close to you guys I'd buy some lumber for sure.
Great team work!
Great video ,thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I find it so interesting thank you guys
Like watching you and Britney do sawing . It’s amazing what the band mill can do . I do like the circle mill allot too . Years ago my uncle had a circle mill in ohio . I never was there to see it , but saw pic of him by it . Your auto feed mill is very nice , that feature is well worth it . Wish I could be there just to see it run in person . Your videos are very good and I will keep watching .
Thanks for watching along!
Good information. Aetting up a mill for retirment. Have not seen your circle mill lately. Thanks for the video.
I will get it up and going soon and make a circle saw video!
One of the Amish mills near me got into a couple sidelines All the hardwood slash goes through a chipper and it and the sawdust gets run through a pellet making rig they got and gets sold as grill and stove fuel. The softwoods get chipped into pine mulch.
Another good job Brit !
my goodness, you guys living my dream
She is smart in each step she takes, pulling the stock coming out. Good job baby girl.
Aloha Mick
She's a fine looking specimen, and the wood is nice too
I just finished building my water wheel sawmill on the small river on my property. I have been building it for over a year. It works but I think the gear ratio is too high as the blade is stalling out. It's spinning fast but with not enough torque. Hopefully, I can figure it out so I can cut wood to build another barn and a small guest home behind my home. Hopefully, I can also build other stationary tools to run off the water wheel like a belt sander, grinder, band saw, and a rough lath. I guess with multiple disengaging gearboxes, anything is possible.
THANKS!
You're welcome!
Nice shots
Enjoyed Video Tyler ! My cousin has a saw mill in Cour d Alene Idaho he makes decorative interior beams. Wood Mizer units very nice saws made in Indianapolis on west 10 street not far from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Tyler you are a fortunate man to have a wife like Britney. I am looking forward to more of your videos.
Thanks!!!
Teamwork makes the dream work! There is a market for those edger bits that are 1x1.5. Hobby woodworkers. building rabbit pens, chicken nest boxes, etc. I have cut down 2x4s to make smaller material to frame up small projects. A monthly ad on craigslist and someone would come haul away your "waste" material.. Don't give it away. People don't want free. Charge .50 per board.
Great job! No wasted time.
Plan worked, I watched the video to see her.
Yes and factor in thins breaking , more things breaks the more you loose on a order.
Very interesting
Great team work
You guys have a terrific rhythm working together.
Great job you to!
Now that’s the way to do re saws I need to get one of them edgers almost takes the work outa it . New viewer here tryen to catch up on ya videos .
I like the LT 15 wood meiser portable saw mill
You need to set your edger up to cut one inch square and four foot tomato stakes. Garden centers and farm supply stores love these things. I suggested this to one of my friends and he sold o er two thousand of them his first spring season
Or it could make stickers.
WOW she stronger than me . WOW ya go girl.
Well done and a great team.... please invest in some good hearing protection. I've had "tinnitus" for over ten years which started at 54/55 years old. I worked in a machine shop for only ten years and race motocross so was around two-stroke dirt bikes. Trust me you will be sorry if you don't wear good hear protection.
Beautiful Wife... Great Job!
I'm interested in how much time you spent on that order and how much $$ you charged . How do you price your time ? As you showed, you had to replace that guide roller so I would consider rollers as a consumable just like gas, oil ,blades etc. You obviously have equipment needed to operate . Do you charge by the board foot , by the hour ? Thanks.
What do you charge for these 1x10 x 10’-06”
Great show! Them Daisy dukes tho 🔥
Very good video,-lovely sunny day, plenty of space & I wonder how that thin blade doesn't wander & cut wrong like my bandsaw does. Good luck to you both!
Good job. Take care and have a blessed and safe weekend
Thanks, you too!
Great Job, Tyler for pulling out of your class lol
Nice looking lumber and wife. My daughters name is Brittany and i have always called her Britt. Very cool video.
Tyler: That bearing was test-ran with water when the mill was built. It also never had any grease in it from the get-go. They are sealed bearings but some never get a drop of grease during assembly. I know this from personal experience. Pop the bearings out. Pop the seals out. Pack them with a dab of neverseize and red grease. Replace and enjoy. 👋
Thanks for the info! They need greaseable bearings!!!
That log is going to be a [crafting, lol] table!
New here and enjoyed the video. Thank for sharing.
You work so hard in such a messy wood yard. Every time you saw a plank it makes one bucket of sawdust, it takes 5 seconds to empty into a barrel and you work clean and have extra income. The same with all the off cuts, they have value in two ways one you work clean and two sell the chippings togarden centers,
TY FOR SHARING THE BETTER MEASURMENT VEIW! VERY NICE OF YOU!! LUCKY BOY! I DIDNT EVEN HEAR WHAT WERE SAYING FOR A LEAST 3 SENETETS! HAD TO REWIND
I clicked for the girl in Daisy Dukes, but I actually learned something.
I'm new here, great teamwork! I'd love to find loads of logs that aren't that great quality but for a firewood side business. Shout out from Texas!
Justin from WM here great vid!
Our favorite WM official! Representing Ga branch! Thanks for watching bud!
Very interesting as such a joy to watch h you both working hard together. What do you do with the sawdust …. If you had a compressor you could make firewood pellets and sell them too.
what you should do is make a bracket where the sawdust come out and go into a 5 or 10 gallon bucket hanging on the machine and then you wouldn't have all that sawdust pile up and have to climb over, and also you should use a leaf blower and blow some of that dust off your machine, might make it last longer?
Sure does look like a great edger
I wish I knew someone with a bigger sawmill. I have an oak tree trunk that is 5 feet in diameter I'd love to get slabs out of.
So how did you make the money? How much for the log delivered and how much did you get from the buyer?
I like , deep regards from Poland.
Y’all make a great team! Bet you enjoy working with each other every day.
What kind of gloves do y’all use?
What edger do you use(have)
Wood!
it's gonna be wood!
I'm so original!
Tyler you are right you have a pretty wife helping you. She is blond but she sure does seem smart around the sawmill. Shes Pretty and smart . Your a lucky manu
Thanks! Yes indeed.
does it help ifen you cut small peices like a pantagon ?
@wallace Farm and Sawmill how do you dry your lumber? Can you air dry in the South?
Does your Sawdust make a good ground cover for your yard to keep help keep the area less muddy?
Those are some nice boards, love the booty shorts too.
Hello. A very instructive video. Tks 4 it. Please, a question. How can u determine how much to charge for each log?
That little gal is a worker!
I wish I had these massive tools. Just had a 1000 year old tree uproot due to over saturated ground. So much beautiful wood!! Nobody has any sawmills big enough to handle it. It's 14 foot circumference at the base. 😩😩😩😩😩
is that silver cylinder part of the vacuum system for sawdust?
Great team work guys!
I'm a little bit worried that you're notbwearingvearcdefenders when walking behind the mill.
Thatscrightbupnclose to the motor and saw blade all day which isn't going to be good long-term.
That’s a lovely and talented wifey you have there man.
Brittany, you are "da bomb"
When you cut these orders do you dry the lumber or leave that to the customer? That’s something I always get stuck on - it’s a common appearance that wood is milled then used but I always thought it is a must to dry it before use.
What kind of edger u have I have same sawmill but need edger I have lt30
Really enjoy your videos, Guys.
I’m a sawyer, myself, down here in east Texas.
Question : what do you do with your edgings ?
I sell a fair amount of the hard woods for firewood.
Haven’t come up with a good solution for the pine.
Praise King Jesus
Tyler you are a smart man , and have a very very nice looking wife that is welling too HELP with the work........... how cool is that........
Can you sharpen the Woodmizer's saws by yourself with some sort of special equipment, or you have to buy new ones or bring them to a specialty shop for sharpening? Great video. My grandfather had a large sawmill place, and as a 5-6 year old kid I never quite understood what was going on there. What is the price that gets charged for an order like that 36 boards?
Interesting. Greetings from cold Russia.
you are a great cameraman sir !!
What do you do with the sawdust? Possible to make fuel logs out of it?
Your teamwork is awesome!
Cool
Wow, I love your setup.
Brit can run the tractor, move the logs and run the mill with accuracy.
Amazing body and skills to match.
I know pine is hard on a blade at least for chain saws .
How often do you have to replace the blades? How much did the machine cost? What's the upkeep cost? How much do you make from the lumber?
the mounds of saw dust everywhere would drive me crazy!!!!
Nice video I noticed an air compressor up on a pole by your saw is that for blowing saw dust?
Yes, it is!
What do you do with all the sawdust?
Wow you couldn't have a better partner. She works.
Awesome sawmill. Would you also like to talk something about chainsaws by the way? Hipa supplies chainsaw chain and parts and maybe we could collaborate to share some tips of chainsaw maintenance and using in the video to help more chainsaw users?
That little lady is worth her weight in gold!
Britney is a Worker Brother!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT EVER let her get away!!! She's a KEEPER!!!!!!😄
