I am anubhab I have been admitted to Chandigarh University in BE CSE Lateral Entry ....
I went to some banks and they say if I get admitted in a private university, I will not get an education loan ..... My semester fee is 90000, hostel fee is 81000 per year ... total 780000 and I was thinking that I would study with education loan .... but now I see that nothing will happen .... and I can't pay that much from home....

Hi mam, PL clarify: How & when to decide the loan tenure period? Those who are wkg in us says that the loan amount will be repaid within 2to 3 years. Whether we can change the tenure period after getting job? Thanks in advance.
RAMESH RAJENDRAN Hi, 2-3 years is usually very short. For those going to the US, the average loan amount taken is 35 lacs. And the average repayment duration is 5-6 years. Hence I think it’s better you go with these numbers. Also, you can extend the loan repayment duration if required, at a later stage also. If I’m not wrong, your financial officer is Ligimol. Hello I have an issue with my loan process sanctioned the bank manager said they can't release the funds without getting visa which is impossible as the Australian home affairs requires genuine access to funds(disbursement letter) and Coe (which can only be obtained after paying the deposit amount) can someone please kindly help me I'm running out of time

What happened if the loan is approved and VISA is rejected..
In that case, you will have to close your loan account after you have repaid any amount that you may have disbursed...

Let's suppose, the bank approved a 10L loan which is equivalent to the 1-year course fee so in case VISA rejection university will return the whole amount and we have to close the loan account.

Mam, Kindly clarify this. Repayment of loan starts after moratorium period. But Will the intrest amount start from the course and moratorium period. Or will it start after the moratorium period?

However, with private banks and NBFC's interest payments have to be made even during the moratorium period.
