Thank you for doing such a comprehensive video of this car. I've been eyeing this beauty for the last six to eight months and I can't wait to get my hands on one. Plan on heavily modifying it so I can do some speed runs.❤
Looks fun, but I already spent my budget on upgrades for the LDRC drift cars. :D I saw these on one of the sales sites, I should stop browsing for rc stuff lol.
Lmao i went from one to 3 ldrcs and now redcat rds rtr for that crazy September deal. Its been one hobby into another. Next is either a losi micro b or a jjrc c8809 😅
Picked up one of these a couple months back and it is a really great little car, especially comes to life on 3s (45+ mph). Although you would do well to shop around as you can find it for significantly less than the Amazon price.
I need to be able to buy multiple. Will have a nice concrete oval in a few months just done the street from my house but will need one for each family member.
ive got the mjx 14301 myself is great fun lights are great on the mini infraction type body possibly my only gripe is the battery tray with that support going to front limits types of after market batteries u can use but apart from that is great value for money
FYI: Those are Lithium Ion batteries. Lipo batteries really bring this car to life, it's perfect on a 3000mah 2S Lipo. Add 80wt Oil to the Shocks, and an extention cable for the lights, one of my favorite cheap cars, $100 on Ali.
I have the 14301, their race truck. This is that same chassis. Stones will interfere with the steering everytime you drive it. The ground clearance is not sufficient to call it a rally car. I really wanted this car, then I watched this video with my 14301 in front of me I see they are the same. It will be nuts fast on 3S at near 40 MPH so you do get pavement speed for sure but if the ground has anything else it will make the inner shield necessary. It does help some but will not solve the steering issues. I love MJX as cheap summer fling cars/trucks but this misses the mark on the term rally.
Thanks for the feedback! That is a good warning! We were thinking of dirt or asphalt rally. Seems it would fit that quite nicely. I agree - rocks will get it in multiple ways.

Awesome! I hope you enjoy it!
Awesome car. That little Citroen is one of my faves. We loved it. Hard to beat. Great review and great driving with the drift tires.
Thanks!
Really impressed with the body quality. I need it in 1:10!
@@RoadsideRC not many of those I see. Traction hobby have a 1:7 though !
Great review troy, looks like a handful of fun and looks great!!!
Thanks Thomas!
Hope you are doing well.
We need to see you get a pair of Losi Mirco B's for you and your kid. Would love to see you do some races and a overall review of that little beast!
Fun idea! We had a couple Mini-Bs before, and had fun with them.

It really is quite nice! Especially when used in the right environment.
@@RoadsideRC that’s it exactly… the right terrain and it totally rocks!!

Good call on the battery support limitations.
Good news: seems like battery life is pretty good.
I love the 14303, I've just converted one to a hobbywing 10BL60 Esc and bigger faster 2850 4800kv motor, on a 28t pinion, the thing rips 62mph so far.
Whew! I couldn't imagine driving 60mph in one. Is it actually stable?

Great tip! Thanks!
My buddy bought one a few days ago and he runs it on 3s and it moves
I bet it is wild on 3S!

Have you done a review of the udirc rally car yet?
I have not! I am curious about it though!
Width and wheelbase, please?
Width 150mm, wheelbase 190mm.
@@gillian9178 Thanks
Great looking car, good performance, just too small! 🤷🏻♂️
Agreed!
