Just went to a Kid Cudi concert two days ago and Cudi is definitely one of, if not, my favorite artists. I'm sad that revolutionaries like Cudi and Kanye are struggling right now because the art they could create would be nothing short of beautiful. I'd highly recommend listening to Man On The Moon
Not sure if anyone else explained it, but the length of 7 tracks was a theme for the year when this dropped. Kanye decided to self produce his own album, this collaboration with Cudi, and albums for Pusha T, Nas, and Teyana Taylor. The tracklist only being 7 tracks was explained by Pusha T simply: "Man, if we can't kill you in seven songs, we don't really need to be doing the music". This came after a cultural shift in hiphop towards longer albums with tons of filler like the Migos Album Culture II which released earlier in 2018.
Please please listen to the original Ghost Town if you loved Free, better in context with the whole Ye album, but as a standalone it really is incredible just aaaaaaaa
This album is such a strong 10 and still has so much replay value to this day. It's so special and unique, and the fact they were able to do all of that in just 23 minutes and with 7 songs is truly brilliant. Both Kanye and Cudi has 10s in their discography and both has classics. Idk if we'll never get another Ye&Cudi song, and we'll probably won't get Kids See Ghosts 2, which is very unfortunate. Cudi is indeed a leader. That one line at the end of Ye's verse in 4th dimension is something he's known for. He's known for having some really clever word plays and some clever punch lines in his songs. You should definitely check out both of their discographies. Kanye's discography is probably the greatest hip hop discography of all time, he never released a bad album (JIK is like a 6, maybe a 5 on a bad day)
I love the way you process music. Honestly, it's the way albums should be appreciated You savor the experience and then look things up to contextualise everything Glad you got to experience this one cause it's a bit of a sleeper This was released during a run where Kanye wanted to fully produce close friends' albums and release them all in a year We got a new Nas album with "NASIR," Teyana Taylor's "KTSE," Pusha T's "Daytona," Kanye's own "Ye," and this collaborative project with Cudi Mans was BUSY
Kanye and Kid Cudi have collabed since the album 808s & Heartbreak in 2008. Kanye met Kid Cudi at some record store and hit it off from there. I'd recommend listening to 808s and Heartbreak and Ye if you want to hear more of the introspective of Kanye. Kanye made Ye and Kids See Ghosts and produced a some more albums, like Daytona which I have to mention, in the Wyoming sessions over the span of weeks in the summer of 2018. The result is really incredible for the amount of time spent.
it's so cool to see people experience this album for the first time, let alone ye and cudi's music. thank you for letting us see your unfiltered reactions.
You've got some of the best editing and structuring in the music reacting scene - doing Kanye's discog chronologically will do wonders for your musical experiences and the channel itself

they had a one time performance at Camp Flog Gnaw (Tyler the creators music festival) and i manager to get so close i cried. this was so good live. i still have the little film camera i used to take pictures of them. they will forever live there.
kanye and cudi are an all time great duo they have a very historied and acclaimed series of collabs on a bunch of songs from almost every album of kanyes for the past decade. this is their first full collab project though, which is why its sad they are beefing. they both have mental health struggles and this kind of thing has happened before so we all can only hope they can figure it out, they make incredible art together.
Man on the Moon: The End of Day - Kid Cudi's debut album is a masterpiece! Highly highly recommend! It changed my life in high school and it still feeds me optimism and creativity till this day!
Definitely go through Kanye's discography in order. How he acts is questionable but you gotta understand he's still human and, funny enough, his music humanizes him. Going through his albums in order and understanding what was happening in his life around each time he dropped an album is important for context. Whether you like him or hate him, there's no denying he's pushed music forward and he's truly one of the best when it comes to music
This Album is definetly one of my favs. Of all time. Listenting to it the very first time hits even harder when you followed both artists careers for many years honestly I was not prepared for this record, even though you can clearly see how Kanyes style shifted throughout the years and his ye Album was a rougher similar version of kids see ghosts
holy shit they're never going to react to another kanye album again after his recent actions lmao 😭 (great vid btw, actually an album REACTION whaaaat)
"I need a whole song that's just this one section." There's at least one song like that on ALL of Kanye's albums. Also, "Imagine if these two weren't beefing," is something we say alot as well. Being a Kanye fan is suffering
you can't listen to ghost town part 2 without listening to ghost town. While you're at it you might as well listen to Ye. Actually, just listen to all of his discography
As a kanye enthusiast... I've seen the good bad and the ugly from this one person. initially when I first heard of him I knew him because of his actions and right off the bat I didn't really mess with him too much. But I don't believe in judging a book by it's cover, so I did some deep diving and I found out that Kanye is an amazing person and is heavily misunderstood. Now don't get me wrong he has done some wrong... but haven't we all?

You NEED to listen to Yeezus by Kanye, one of the most polarizing and probably my favorite album of his. It's so raw and aggressive, I haven't heard anything like it since. Great work on the videos, love seeing more content from you!
For both Kanye and Cudi, this album came at a point where they both began to recover from mental illness. Kanye since the passing of his mother and Cudi with drug abuse had sent both into a depression where in the late 2000s, they began working together. A decade after their first collab, this is a reflective album outlining their respective experiences with mental health struggles. To me, the title "Kids See Ghosts" is reflective upon the misconception that until recently mental health wasn't and still isn't taken seriously in men. On top of that, a week before Kids See Ghosts released, Kanye released Ye, another 7 song album that dives into his personal relationships and how they have been affected by his mental struggles. KSG is the second half of that experience, which outlines his understanding of his shortcomings. As for a recommendation, to see where Kanye and Cudi come from in their respective mental health journeys, listen to 808s and Heartbreak from Kanye (Has a cudi feature) and Man on the moon 1/2/3 from Cudi. Im glad you loved this album, its one of my favs!
im honored to be the few able to witness KSG perform at camp flog 18 it was beautiful rage! and Kid cudi is the goat please listen to him.. and you have funny reacts
So glad you reacted to this amazing album, please do Ye next. It has a similar vibe to this and has Ghost Town which is one of the greatest songs ever made imo.
0:13 Kanye was jealous that Pete Davidson took his girl, and since cudi was freinds with Pete, Ye removed him from Donda 2 and despised him for knowing Pete. Cudi didn’t like this, so he said duces to their friendship. W reaction btw
This collaboration was one of the best of the 2010s. Both artist have great trilogies. Kid Cudi with all 3 Man on the Moon albums. Ye with The college dropout, Late Registration and Graduation. They’re a great due on almost every song they have together.
"Kid Cudi Saved my life" is something many of his fans say, me included. He influenced an entire generation and allot of people wouldn't be here without him. He's one of the first rappers/hip hop artists to really talk about his feelings and be so open and vulnerable in his music. I highly recommend the man on the moon trilogy.
I wasn’t there in kid cudi’s man on the moon era, but I discovered it later and even then his discography helped me through a lot of problems. It’s sad to see what is happening to him
Just randomly found this channel show up on my recommended. Very refreshing and insightful reaction video. No screaming into my ears just an open mind and vibing with the music and learning about the songs and opinions.
IM SO HYPED FOR THIS, CUDI THE GOAT, HUGE W PATH Edit: After watching, you'd love both of their discographies, especially Cudi's if you connect with his vulnerability. He said from the start his mission is to stop kids from committing suicide, he still carries this message today and reinforces it in his music. He has my utmost respect. Enjoyed the reaction fam, keep em coming!
808’s and Heartbreak was the first time they worked together, and it was the album after his mom died… it’s an amazing album which you should check out
This is def both artists at their peak, after 2010 both Cudi and Kanye's work has been inconsistent but this collab struck lightning in a bottle. I see a lot of ppl recommending 808's and Heartbreak here, which is a really cool personal and experimental album, but if you like the really polished production of Kids See Ghosts, check out Graduation by Kanye too (the one before 808s).
@@yeoitsmike I mean tbf Kanye's whole discog is consistently inconsistent if that makes sense. Since Yeezus every album he's released thrives off that unpredictability, specially TLOP and Donda. I personally think that adds to the listening experience since you get higher highs. Kanye being inconsistent is just Kanye being Kanye.
Still a 10/10 album for me. It’s really just a damn shame what’s happened to Kanye over the past decade…he used to be better than the current drama he’s constantly embroiling himself in.
The art is still incredible. To me personally the story of Kanye's life is very interesting. But it of course comes with a lot of drama and controversy, but everyone should still be able to enjoy his art.
@@bbpoisonn How can you do that when the art is inextricably tied to the artist? Kanye’s music is a reflection of himself and his experiences in the black community, for example.
@@lordbauer5983 yes, it is a reflexion of himself. That's why you should try to listen to it and understand what he's going through. In most of his songs he doesn't say something terrible. He often has real stories to tell. So I don't see how you can't appreciate his music for being art. As I said earlier: you can and should still be critical of what he's doing and what he's done in his life
@@MrBaumGeo Because I can’t separate the creation from the creator… If I have personal issues with Kanye the Person, why would I support Kanye the Artist? That would require a serious mental disconnect. What makes art unique is the connection you have with an artist.
You seemed to really like Cudi in this so I would heavily recommend all three Man on the Moon albums. He really dives into his struggles with mental health in each stage of his life between the three of them, along with caring over a lot of the same musical talent shown in Kids See Ghosts.

I love this Album so much. Free is one of my favorite songs of all time, I actually cried a bit the first time I heard it cause the raw emotion they were displaying while screaming in the chorus felt so hopeful to me, so I was really happy to see you liking it so much being it the lowest streamed song on the album I feel like not everyone likes it as much as I do
Glad you enjoyed this!
Kanye’s debut album College Dropout is probably the best debut in hip-hop history, possibly music history. I highly recommend it!
Kanye always went over my head, something about him pushed me off his music, but he does have some crazy projects, respect where respect is due, early Kanye and MBDTF are top tier albums.
Path, I don't know if you'll read this, but I'd really love you to check out Mac Miller - Swimming album (unless you did already) or the most recent (today) JID - The Forever Story
perfect now i know what to listen to during my birthday, great vid as usual
This is the best reaction video I’ve ever watched.
I like how you analyze the music and cut it to save time while still flowing with the beat.
The voiceovers contributed as well and your personality made me whole day.
Thank you for making this video!
Wow, thank you!
6:49 ‘I’m really aging myself here’
Not at all lol, literally everyone bopped to Pursuit of Happyness when Cudi dropped it 😂
Just went to a Kid Cudi concert two days ago and Cudi is definitely one of, if not, my favorite artists. I'm sad that revolutionaries like Cudi and Kanye are struggling right now because the art they could create would be nothing short of beautiful. I'd highly recommend listening to Man On The Moon
Denzels been opening for Cudi right? imo denzel is the best rapper out rn, i went to one of his concerts a month ago in new orleans
@@GreerL0319 yeah Denzel opened for Cudi and it was insane. Energy he brough was crazy lol
@@piexelczek4922 damn nice, I’m gonna see him in November in Belgium finally!
This came after a cultural shift in hiphop towards longer albums with tons of filler like the Migos Album Culture II which released earlier in 2018.
no one else mentioned this! thank you for letting me know, this is awesome
Please please listen to the original Ghost Town if you loved Free, better in context with the whole Ye album, but as a standalone it really is incredible just aaaaaaaa
best way to describe ghost town, that song is just so aaaaaaaa, so so good
This album is such a strong 10 and still has so much replay value to this day. Kanye's discography is probably the greatest hip hop discography of all time, he never released a bad album (JIK is like a 6, maybe a 5 on a bad day)
Love your editing so clean and how you add comments in without breaking the flow of the music
I love the way you process music. Honestly, it's the way albums should be appreciated
You savor the experience and then look things up to contextualise everything
Glad you got to experience this one cause it's a bit of a sleeper
This was released during a run where Kanye wanted to fully produce close friends' albums and release them all in a year
We got a new Nas album with "NASIR," Teyana Taylor's "KTSE," Pusha T's "Daytona," Kanye's own "Ye," and this collaborative project with Cudi
Mans was BUSY
Kanye and Kid Cudi have collabed since the album 808s & Heartbreak in 2008.
Kanye met Kid Cudi at some record store and hit it off from there.
I'd recommend listening to 808s and Heartbreak and Ye if you want to hear more of the introspective of Kanye.
Kanye made Ye and Kids See Ghosts and produced a some more albums, like Daytona which I have to mention, in the Wyoming sessions over the span of weeks in the summer of 2018. The result is really incredible for the amount of time spent.
Cudi is legendary, and I highly recommend every album he's ever done, including WZRD
HAPPY TO SEE YOU BACK! Enjoy your reactions and especially to one of my favorite albums!
From your reaction, I can tell that music really moves you, like you’re really feeling it. 🎧
it's so cool to see people experience this album for the first time, let alone ye and cudi's music. thank you for letting us see your unfiltered reactions.
babe wake up, new path album reaction video
You've got some of the best editing and structuring in the music reacting scene - doing Kanye's discog chronologically will do wonders for your musical experiences and the channel itself
Reborn is one of my favourite songs of all time and almost makes me cry from the repeating moving forward line😭 excited to see how you react to it
Knowing that you watch Hivemind just gave me more respect for what I already thought was the max amount of respect I could give someone
My parents are getting divorced right now and times have been tough but this album has helped me so much, this is definitely in my top 10 favorite albums ever list
they had a one time performance at Camp Flog Gnaw (Tyler the creators music festival) and i manager to get so close i cried. this was so good live. i still have the little film camera i used to take pictures of them. they will forever live there.
Gotta watch your videos asap before they get taken down😂🥲
kanye and cudi are an all time great duo they have a very historied and acclaimed series of collabs on a bunch of songs from almost every album of kanyes for the past decade. this is their first full collab project though, which is why its sad they are beefing. they both have mental health struggles and this kind of thing has happened before so we all can only hope they can figure it out, they make incredible art together.
This is quickly turning in to my fav album reaction channel
THE KANYE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN LETS GOOOOO
Man on the Moon: The End of Day - Kid Cudi's debut album is a masterpiece! Highly highly recommend! It changed my life in high school and it still feeds me optimism and creativity till this day!
your description of cudi was honestly spot on, great video :) and please listen to more of both of artists' projects!
YESSSSS thank you so much i was waiting for another album for so long 🙏🙏
This Album is definetly one of my favs. Of all time. Listenting to it the very first time hits even harder when you followed both artists careers for many years honestly I was not prepared for this record, even though you can clearly see how Kanyes style shifted throughout the years and his ye Album was a rougher similar version of kids see ghosts
I couldn’t stop smiling during your reaction to Feel The Love😭
brap! dadadadap!
holy shit they're never going to react to another kanye album again after his recent actions lmao 😭
(great vid btw, actually an album REACTION whaaaat)
That’s exactly what I was thinking too when I watched this😭
Yeah makes me so sad I’ve been waiting patiently for another Kanye reaction but it seems like it’s impossible now 🥲
@@simba-tg8oh It's just been three weeks and with the news of his new "business idea" yeah it's over for kanye fans like myself😭😭
@@simba-tg8oh She recorded an TCD reaction, but December 2022 kanye did his thing😂
I'm so happy these two have made up, I really hope they collab againnnn
"I need a whole song that's just this one section." There's at least one song like that on ALL of Kanye's albums. Also, "Imagine if these two weren't beefing," is something we say alot as well. Being a Kanye fan is suffering
wow this has to be the best reaction video I have watched. Automatic subscription!!
you can't listen to ghost town part 2 without listening to ghost town. While you're at it you might as well listen to Ye. Actually, just listen to all of his discography
I literally just screamed when I saw this video on my recommended. HECK YEA!
As a kanye enthusiast...
I've seen the good bad and the ugly from this one person.
initially when I first heard of him I knew him because of his actions and right off the bat I didn't really mess with him too much.
But
I don't believe in judging a book by it's cover, so I did some deep diving and I found out that Kanye is an amazing person and is heavily misunderstood.
Now don't get me wrong he has done some wrong... but haven't we all?
Oh yeah and his music's good too...
Also i think that in music, we should always seperate art from the artist
This aged like milk
the good the bad and the ugly, top 10 ye feature
@@bee-sk3il no it didn't no bad person would try to get hoover out of jail so his son could see him no bad person would go to a jail and perform music there to make them feel good and give them hope for their future no bad person would buy land for the cause of getting black people more land no bad person will try to help free black artists who were being effectively enslaved by executives no bad person would try to turn the swastika into a symbol of love doing the opposite of what the nazis did ye is a man of love who is both misguided and misunderstood
The amount of effort on the captions are crazy
If she does Rodeo by travis, her mind's gonna be blown LMAO
This reaction was nicely done
I dont think anyone else is doing it in this format which makes it much better to watch as you dive in deeper later on. I hope youre going to reeact to some more Kanye maybe Graudation, The life of Pablo or Even my Dark Twisted Beautiful Fantasy
Please do a kanye album reaction, college dropout, graduation or dark fantasy
I rlly think you would love the album "aethiopes" by Billy woods it goes into unbelievable depth on colonialism, grief, and oppression
This is probably one of my favorite albums ever, and it is surprising you reacted to it, but still big up. 👍
One of the best albums ever made
So glad you reacted to this amazing album, please do Ye next.
Love your physical reactions to the music.
This collaboration was one of the best of the 2010s. Both artist have great trilogies. Kid Cudi with all 3 Man on the Moon albums. Ye with The college dropout, Late Registration and Graduation. They’re a great due on almost every song they have together.
You need to listen to "Ye" by kanye. Its amazing and really underrated i feel
Shes back! This will be very fun to see! Thanks for the video!

welcome back nice to see you doing reactions again!
It’s sad to see what is happening to him
@@raffert_zuko2099 he was on hot one's a week or two ago. He seems to be doing great at the moment.
Very genuine and soothing production ,reaction & soul! Give your ears a treat and dwelve in to My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy :)
please react to "ye" by Kanye, one of my all time favorite albums
Happy you're back, love your reactions & great album to listen to.
Channel is so great, Please More Videos in the future😊
Do more Kanye!!! The College Dropout or Late Registration are great if you haven’t listened to them yet.
Just randomly found this channel show up on my recommended. Very refreshing and insightful reaction video. No screaming into my ears just an open mind and vibing with the music and learning about the songs and opinions.
i dont think ive ever screamed in my entire life
wow hivemind and path, my favorite youtubers
IM SO HYPED FOR THIS, CUDI THE GOAT, HUGE W PATH
Edit: After watching, you'd love both of their discographies, especially Cudi's if you connect with his vulnerability. He said from the start his mission is to stop kids from committing suicide, he still carries this message today and reinforces it in his music. He has my utmost respect.
Enjoyed the reaction fam, keep em coming!
awh that mission 🥺
Your definition of Kid Cudi is basically perfect.
If you enjoyed Kanye being more open with his headspace and his emotions, listen to the album “Ye”, it’s one of his most personal work
808’s and Heartbreak was the first time they worked together, and it was the album after his mom died… it’s an amazing album which you should check out
One of the best hip hop albums in recent times. Very creative
It's one of the best in all of history, not just recent times
This contact is fucking spectacular and you take a different approach then most music reactors do, keep at it!
You mean Cudi has been inconsistent. Don’t add Kanye in that
@@yeoitsmike I mean tbf Kanye's whole discog is consistently inconsistent if that makes sense. Since Yeezus every album he's released thrives off that unpredictability, specially TLOP and Donda. I personally think that adds to the listening experience since you get higher highs. Kanye being inconsistent is just Kanye being Kanye.
Ahhhhhh I have to go to bed. To watch later this goes 😫😫😫
sleep tight bandstand
Still a 10/10 album for me.
It’s really just a damn shame what’s happened to Kanye over the past decade…he used to be better than the current drama he’s constantly embroiling himself in.
Whatever he’s doing. Learn to differentiate the art from the artist
As I said earlier: you can and should still be critical of what he's doing and what he's done in his life
@@MrBaumGeo Because I can’t separate the creation from the creator…
If I have personal issues with Kanye the Person, why would I support Kanye the Artist? That would require a serious mental disconnect.
What makes art unique is the connection you have with an artist.
You seemed to really like Cudi in this so I would heavily recommend all three Man on the Moon albums. He really dives into his struggles with mental health in each stage of his life between the three of them, along with caring over a lot of the same musical talent shown in Kids See Ghosts.
It's very interesting watching someone go back thru Kanye's discography, because as a long time fan it really makes you aware of how much farther away he feels in terms of his music.
farther away? not sure what you mean by that
@@pathreacts If you listen to his first album, you will understand what he/she means. almost every single Kanye album sounds different from the last
@@thelaughingskeleton1539 yeah, when he was coming up, he made music people in the same position could relate to; it was dated, but it was more honest and positive I guess? But when he got rich, he couldn't relate to us anymore, and the music changed.
At least in my opinion, maybe I'm just biased towards the vibe his older music had, but that was always my interpretation.
@@pathreacts Kanye is so respected because he always innovates. His albums sound different and he constantly challenges himself and he's amazing at it. A ton of modern rap is inspired from him. He's changed mainstream rap several times throughout his career.
path is back les go 😭
