Tony Montresor Really? I'm pretty sensitive to the movement of cameras & get dizzy easily, but didn't at all with this film. It was pretty clearly a "controlled" shaking & very well done.
I agree, Sayuki Marchand. If a person is going to post a film, they're going to have to get used to criticism. I too found it too shaky to enjoy, especially the end.
But if you're going to criticize someone online, you have to get used to being talked back to. "Was this filmed during an earthquake" was an insult, not a suggestion. The creator was well within his rights to call you out - he doesn't have to stay silent while you insult him.
GradKat I was interested in just a creepy video set in a garage. The plot is a girl that isn’t really herself after leaving a hospital. I left the rest to be as interpretive as possible. The camerawork and audio stink for sure, but hope this helps!
At first I was like oh this sucks. Then I was like ooh bitch I'm getting scared NVM I like this! Then at the end I was like what? What was the point of her going through the scary confusing part if she was helping the patient get out. Is she like bipolar and part of her didn't want him to get out but the other part did? Is she possessed or controlled by the patient? Conclusion: this did a good job of creating tension and fear, but someone's gonna have to explain this to me.
Sure! You saw a first attempt at making a short film. I'm well aware of the flaws, issues, and improvements it needs, unlike yourself who instead of creating something and contributing to the world, decided to try and take down someone else's work. Maybe send me YOUR first short so I can shitpost it?
A woman who has been having mental issues checks herself out of a self-chosen stay in an institution. While leaving, a friend who has learned of this decision tells her by text that it seems inadvisable without assistance and that they are coming to pick her up. She persists in her efforts to leave, although she is haunted by the specter of her mental disturbance, which does not 'wish to be left behind'. It has 'rejoined' her by the cessation of her blackout, as symbolized by the parallel posturing and expression of the two figures, with her mental disturbance now figuratively acting as her 'back-seat driver'.
Awesome job dude! This turned out really well, hope to see more like this in the future!
Wow, dude this was so awesome. Creepy, and well executed! Would love to see more stuff like this!!!
More than creepy! It's very chilling
Awesome job! The camera work and the music score gave me a 1970's / 1980's thriller vibe. Like something out of Cobra (1986). Great work!
Cool stuff!
that was great Patrick! I'd love to see what else you got up that sleeve of yours :)
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This short gave me an idea for my next short film. Thanks
From the Heart by A.D. let me know when it’s up!
From the Heart by A.D. if you ever accept talent from salt lake Utah, I’d love to audition for you :)
Camerawork was a bit amateur, but other than that this was really well-executed! Liked it a lot.
Was this filmed during an earthquake?
Yep, your mother was on the same level.

@ Tony Montresor, same here, very unpleasant ! Patrick you should be a bit more humble with the critics, as this is a very valid one!

I think she was asking for someone to explain the ending since it is a bit convoluted, I don’t think it was meant as an insult.
