i mean chara is basically just playing with black since they can literally just end it whenever they want, so they realistically wouldn’t have any losing icons

Chara is a Character from Undertale and has no Relation to any .exe. They are a Ghost, Human or Demon Depending on what Interpretation of the Character you are Looking at.
I think Black’s strength is being limited here due to them being under control of us, the player. The entity that corrupted Black and (assuming) made them as terrifying as they are isn’t able to unleash its full power because the body is also being controlled by us.
Aaand… I would assume that the player is a neutral entity, because if We really wanted to beat Chara as Black we would easily turn him to his full potential.

An alien who has murdered a ton of spaceship crew and murdered someone’s dad to make their son a murderer to do his bidding for him and go on to kill even more, or a child with a knife that has a creepy laugh and speaks to you about your actions, telling you how many monsters are left to slaughter, and their brother died on the surface trying to help monsterkind with the child’s soul to destroy the barrier and they died together in the underground, then their brother became a murderous flower, later returning as a freaking god. If asriel/flowey can help, it depends on how many souls he has. Chara is on equal grounds with black. 0 soul flowey does basically nothing. 1 soul is meta flowey (UTY) and he can help. 2-5 is unknown so far but could help. 6 is Omega flowey. Helpful. Most def helpful. 7 (or 6 and every monster soul) is Asriel. Black doesn’t have DETERMINATION that we know of. That means no inf lives for black. Asriel solos, chara can relax.
