With Adam in the fray versus Blake and Yang alone, we may get Bumblebee confirmation and its awesome. I recognize the reasons for Black Sun but I just feel that Bumblebee has so much more value and weight to the relationship. Episode 11 is one to pay attention to for sure.

I have a hard time listening to this song without choking up because I've been in Yang's shoes. I still am. Best friend of 10+ years (so close we called each other our wives, and talked nearly every day) just up and stops talking to me without an explanation over a year ago. Then suddenly last week, she ambushes me as I'm leaving a restaurant and acts like we never lost touch, like she's desperately trying to pretend she never hurt me. The line "That the one thing I can count on, is that I can't count on you" is just something I really relate to.
I think a lot of people feel life Yang in real life. The reason I want to see you do it is to see who you think it's from the perspective of. It's both male and female vocals (Jeff and Casey) instead of two female vocalists (Casey and Sandra). The song appears twice through the series: as an ending track in volume 1 (Shining Beacon), and a reprise of it during Velvet's big moment in volume 3 (Heroes and Monsters). The closest instance of a major male character role in either instance is Jaune chatting with Ruby about their weapons in Shining Beacon, so it seems odd to have a male vocalist for it, rather than using Sandra in place of Jeff as was done in Red Like Roses part 2. Especially for the Heroes and Monsters instance, as that scene is all about Velvet (with her weapon) and Weiss (with her summoning), while all the guys stand around watching. What's your take on it?
The song to me I feel yang want blake to stop running. Be strong and be part of the team. She trying so hard to build up Blake. And i feel she did. When Blake stand up in volume 8, and yell at Weiss ti GET UP. Shows Blake is strong and becoming a trusted team member. Their friendships is very important. They have a friendship that will last forever. Yang's BFF will be Blake. A lot they will learn in that black void they fell into. All will learn something and come back and be the best team ever and kick some azzzz. People take cuz females can show so much affections toward one another that there is more to it. I feel the way yang feels toward my BFF. We care about each others well being and we try to keep each up, especially during this pandemic. I happy for yang and blake to have such a relationship. It's obvious that it continues to evolve. Or rather... Yang's feelings towards Blake continues to evolve. She sees Blake's emotions and weaknesses and tries and still continues to help. She has given Blake everything she has just to help her sort out her emotions. But in everything she's given, she ran without a reason and trace she knew of. It's clear that Yang developed feelings for Blake and Blake either ignored them or was just blind to realise. BlackSun has as high of a possibility to become canon as Bumblebee because of Blake's conflicting feeling towards the two. In Bumblebee, it's clear Yang has feelings towards Blake but does Blake feel the same way? In BlackSun, it's also clear Sun has feelings for Blake and Blake has hints of feeling the same way, but are her feelings for Sun? Or Yang? I hope this is as understandable as it gets. sigh, i am not a fan of bumblebee cause i never saw YANG as one to tie herself down to anyone. i honestly see her the one of the group that would leave the group first. while Blake to me seems like shes was always lying to herself that she wants to leave and without the events of the show she would not have left. Blake is a character which I go back and forth on and never understood why. You summed it up elegantly, EruptionFang (sorry, IDK your IRL name). She leaves relationships twisting in the wind and gives a whole load of shallow promises to "be there" when she knows that she won't (on some level). She struggles internally and rejects help over and over, only for when she is finally saved, to then "reset". Never takes thing into her own hands and just on 'n' off complains about the oppression she faces in the world, despite how those close to her love her. Chances are that she would've split off from team RWBY, after they graduated, like she did when Beacon collapsed. Incredibly edgy. Always wonders alone and yet hates to be lonely... Watching this video, it hit me. I am Blake - harem not withstanding. What the fuck to I do?
I think I understand Bumblebee a lot more. And I can see where Rooster Teeth is going with these two. I think it's two cut the bullshit that they both have and settling it once and for all. This is about a friend who is willingly going above and beyond for another person that they hold dear to them oh, I don't think bumblebee is a romantic ship anymore because of how the story seems to take it. It seems like Yang is willing to go above and beyond for her friend and Blake hasn't really had a friend that has ran off on her so she doesn't know how it truly feels to have that burden there on her shoulders. And I think Yang was born in April around the Taurus era because her and Adam seem to be as stubborn as tourist when it comes to holding things on, not letting it go. Romantic or not, relationships like these are NOT healthy and tragically are always one-sided. Blake is a complex character with MANY issues she needs to work out before even entering into a relationship. I may not be a Bumblebee shipper, but I can understand Yang's feelings because I've been there before. It always seems like I'm the only one trying to put effort and giving my all and all I get in return is regret and bitterness.
I can see your point. Bumblebee shipper or not, I like to think that Yang, maybe even Sun, could be there for Blake as a shoulder to cry on - for emotional support. I think after Blake’s situation with Adam, it will be difficult for her to trust in that way again, but Yang could be that light for Blake.

Both ships feel forced which is why I hardly root for couples now. The only ship I genuinely like is the canon one which is Ren and Nora (Miles and Kerry give them more screen time besides the intro).
Vicente 810 I was talking about Ren and Nora this volume. Literally all we’ve had is the intro and subtle looks between them. They’re practically the only canon couple who are alive. The voice actor of Blake isn’t a writer lol. Everyone knows Barbra and Arryn are Bumblebee shippers. It’s basically up to the writers to choose who goes together. Both Black Sun and Bumblebee have received attention this volume and the volume before. They both come off a bit forced but whatever happens, happens. The idea of people watching this show just for ships is stupid. Which is why I don’t think it’ll become official, we’re just gonna have teases to keep the audience from leaving.
Vicente 810 I’m pretty sure Monty had their relationship planned from the start. It’s a bit obvious they were destined for each other. Unlike, Blake and Yang or Sun and Blake, R/N and J/P were probably created by Monty himself. Tbh, Blake’s relationship with Yang and Sun could go either way. I’m just saying that they won’t make it official (probably) because they want to tease Bumblebee and Black Sun shippers. But hopefully, one of them becomes official to put ship wars to an end.
Some people were mad that Blake just comes back without any backlash from her running away in Vol. 5 but I think that's to show how much Yang's relationship with Blake is so strong that she just can't stay mad at her forever and pretty much sets Bmblby in stone as an actual thing... Like or not the writers have been slowly building this up over the volumes with subtle hints... I'm not the kind of guy to go crazy over a fictional ships in a show but hey Yang's my favorite character and Blake is probably second so here we are... Plus it's part of the character developement that has been getting better so far so I can't ignore it.
This feels like an abusive relationship (regardless of if it is romantic or not). There is a distinct lack of communication between these two. If a person feels obliged to help a friend that is incapable of helping themselves, he/she may get dragged down with them and still believe they are doing something good by supporting the other person. In actuality, Yang is becoming more like Blake in that she has become dismissive and avoids confronting the problems they are facing. As much as I love Blake and Yang individually, Blake simply has more influence on Yang than vice versa. Until Yang puts her foot down and leaves Blake to figure out her own issues, their situation will continue to be one sided and toxic. Its the main reason I've never supported them as a ship... Blake is self-centered and oblivious by nature (shes always had to be secretive and look out for herself), while Yang is giving and determined, these aren't a good set of traits to pair with one another without a lot of suffering. I frankly am unsure if I even support them being friends until something changes.
TheEphemeralEternity I wouldn’t go so far to call it abusive, more just toxic on Yang’s side. With Blake being to focused on herself, yang consistently was hurt even if it wasn’t purposeful. But thankfully there are good signs going forward in Volume 6 for them to make up.
This is pretty much how I feel about them, yang has abandoment issues but seems she doesn't want to confront them this volume, while Blake on the other hand doesn't know what she did wrong to yang
I think you got the wrong impression of the characters. Blake has made an active effort to reform her relationship with her teammates and is beginning to put herself out there and express herself because she recognizes that this was a thing she struggled with and she wants to do better. Meanwhile Yang has made an effort to talk to Blake about her issues, opening up to her about her hallucinations and tremors in V6 C5. They both recognize that they need to try harder to maintain good relationships platonic or otherwise and it is this effort that differentiates their friendship from being toxic. They have miscommunication, yes, but ultimately they are *trying* to make things clear. Their relationship has had bumps and frankly horrible burning crashes, but they make an effort to mend things and move on together. That's the difference between toxic/abusive and just rife with difficulties

speaking from after season 6: while this song is beautiful, it still can't quell my rage of how fast they forced bumblebee in S6. if RT gave BB 2 seasons to build up meaningful moments ON SCREEN, then i wouldn't be so mad at it.
I like bumblebee ship, but I don't like at all how are they are approaching their relationship in volume 6. For me, volume 6 should have been working more in their friendship and fixing their problems. And after that they can think about shipping them. But they are trying it to ship them right now and it all comes out very forced. I would like the ship to become real, but only if it's real and believable between the characters. Like Monty said: "It has to be earned". And that is not happening in volume 6, in my opinion.

Blake is a character which I go back and forth on and never understood why. You summed it up elegantly, EruptionFang (sorry, IDK your IRL name). She leaves relationships twisting in the wind and gives a whole load of shallow promises to "be there" when she knows that she won't (on some level). She struggles internally and rejects help over and over, only for when she is finally saved, to then "reset". Never takes thing into her own hands and just on 'n' off complains about the oppression she faces in the world, despite how those close to her love her. Chances are that she would've split off from team RWBY, after they graduated, like she did when Beacon collapsed. Incredibly edgy. Always wonders alone and yet hates to be lonely...

And I can see where Rooster Teeth is going with these two. I think it's two cut the bullshit that they both have and settling it once and for all.
This is about a friend who is willingly going above and beyond for another person that they hold dear to them oh, I don't think bumblebee is a romantic ship anymore because of how the story seems to take it. It seems like Yang is willing to go above and beyond for her friend and Blake hasn't really had a friend that has ran off on her so she doesn't know how it truly feels to have that burden there on her shoulders.
And I think Yang was born in April around the Taurus era because her and Adam seem to be as stubborn as tourist when it comes to holding things on, not letting it go. In the same way because I'm a Taurus too X3 lol

Romantic or not, relationships like these are NOT healthy and tragically are always one-sided. Blake is a complex character with MANY issues she needs to work out before even entering into a relationship. I may not be a Bumblebee shipper, but I can understand Yang's feelings because I've been there before. It always seems like I'm the only one trying to put effort and giving my all and all I get in return is regret and bitterness.
I can see your point. Bumblebee shipper or not, I like to think that Yang, maybe even Sun, could be there for Blake as a shoulder to cry on - for emotional support. I think after Blake’s situation with Adam, it will be difficult for her to trust in that way again, but Yang could be that light for Blake.

This song gives me uncertain feelings about the relationship between Yang and Blake. Both have issues and lately, they’ve become very toxic to each other.
To be honest, lately, I’ve felt Sun would be much better for Blake but character development/the story is better than ships imo

Vicente 810 Either way, it doesn’t matter to me whether or not bumblebee or black sun becomes canon as long as M and K focus on the story and not make it utter crap.
Both ships feel forced which is why I hardly root for couples now. The only ship I genuinely like is the canon one which is Ren and Nora (Miles and Kerry give them more screen time besides the intro).
Vicente 810 I was talking about Ren and Nora this volume. Literally all we’ve had is the intro and subtle looks between them. They’re practically the only canon couple who are alive.
The voice actor of Blake isn’t a writer lol. Everyone knows Barbra and Arryn are Bumblebee shippers.
It’s basically up to the writers to choose who goes together. Both Black Sun and Bumblebee have received attention this volume and the volume before. They both come off a bit forced but whatever happens, happens.
The idea of people watching this show just for ships is stupid. Which is why I don’t think it’ll become official, we’re just gonna have teases to keep the audience from leaving.
Vicente 810 I’m pretty sure Monty had their relationship planned from the start. It’s a bit obvious they were destined for each other. Unlike, Blake and Yang or Sun and Blake, R/N and J/P were probably created by Monty himself.
Tbh, Blake’s relationship with Yang and Sun could go either way. I’m just saying that they won’t make it official (probably) because they want to tease Bumblebee and Black Sun shippers.
But hopefully, one of them becomes official to put ship wars to an end.

Some people were mad that Blake just comes back without any backlash from her running away in Vol. 5 but I think that's to show how much Yang's relationship with Blake is so strong that she just can't stay mad at her forever and pretty much sets Bmblby in stone as an actual thing... Like or not the writers have been slowly building this up over the volumes with subtle hints... I'm not the kind of guy to go crazy over a fictional ships in a show but hey Yang's my favorite character and Blake is probably second so here we are... Plus it's part of the character developement that has been getting better so far so I can't ignore it.
This feels like an abusive relationship (regardless of if it is romantic or not). There is a distinct lack of communication between these two.
If a person feels obliged to help a friend that is incapable of helping themselves, he/she may get dragged down with them and still believe they are doing something good by supporting the other person.
In actuality, Yang is becoming more like Blake in that she has become dismissive and avoids confronting the problems they are facing. As much as I love Blake and Yang individually, Blake simply has more influence on Yang than vice versa.
Until Yang puts her foot down and leaves Blake to figure out her own issues, their situation will continue to be one sided and toxic. Its the main reason I've never supported them as a ship... Blake is self-centered and oblivious by nature (shes always had to be secretive and look out for herself), while Yang is giving and determined, these aren't a good set of traits to pair with one another without a lot of suffering. I frankly am unsure if I even support them being friends until something changes.
TheEphemeralEternity I wouldn’t go so far to call it abusive, more just toxic on Yang’s side. With Blake being to focused on herself, yang consistently was hurt even if it wasn’t purposeful. But thankfully there are good signs going forward in Volume 6 for them to make up.
This is pretty much how I feel about them, yang has abandoment issues but seems she doesn't want to confront them this volume, while Blake on the other hand doesn't know what she did wrong to yang

I think you got the wrong impression of the characters. Blake has made an active effort to reform her relationship with her teammates and is beginning to put herself out there and express herself because she recognizes that this was a thing she struggled with and she wants to do better. Meanwhile Yang has made an effort to talk to Blake about her issues, opening up to her about her hallucinations and tremors in V6 C5. They both recognize that they need to try harder to maintain good relationships platonic or otherwise and it is this effort that differentiates their friendship from being toxic. They have miscommunication, yes, but ultimately they are *trying* to make things clear. Their relationship has had bumps and frankly horrible burning crashes, but they make an effort to mend things and move on together. That's the difference between toxic/abusive and just rife with difficulties
This theory has nothing to do with the video but what if raven killed summer rose because summer had the spring maiden powers I only thought about this after rewatching the last episode of volume 5 raven felt summer was weak and couldn’t handle the powers so she killed her, summer maybe didn’t always have the powers but what if she was put in the same situation as pyhrra and amber

speaking from after season 6: while this song is beautiful, it still can't quell my rage of how fast they forced bumblebee in S6. if RT gave BB 2 seasons to build up meaningful moments ON SCREEN, then i wouldn't be so mad at it.

I like bumblebee ship, but I don't like at all how are they are approaching their relationship in volume 6. For me, volume 6 should have been working more in their friendship and fixing their problems. And after that they can think about shipping them. But they are trying it to ship them right now and it all comes out very forced. I would like the ship to become real, but only if it's real and believable between the characters. Like Monty said: "It has to be earned". And that is not happening in volume 6, in my opinion.
