I actually always thought this song was more like a father/daughter duet, I think is more natural

I mean if you want to you can look at the song, home, from qrows point of view, specifically his relationship with ruby and yang, but mostly ruby as the song was in volume 4.
After watching the latest episode , Season 6 Volume 11, listening to this song and your analysis finally makes sense to me why Adam did what he does through hatred and how it affects others and Blake and Sun struggled at first to rally the Faunus. I'm mindblowned!
OK the one part I'm erked with is that throughout From Shadows? Blake wasn't OK with Adam's choices because she was raised to use peaceful protest rather than warfare. By the end of it she came to accept that this was a horrible choice and the best option she had was to get out and away from a toxic influence. Other than that? Dead on.

I’m pretty sure the perspectives are told from Ghira and Blake, the lyrics don’t fit well with sun’s character. Before chapter 14 ended, Ghira was talking about how he exactly wants to make a new white fang, the words fit too well the lyrics in the song. It’s also Blake because she always felt like the world needed to understand Faunus better, it’s too obvious man.

SaiyanCOG no I’m pretty sure it’s all Ghira, never once in the show has sun talked about wanting to make a new brotherhood. Let’s be honest, the lyrics are too mature for Sun’s character. With Ghira it makes so much more sense.

latiosfreak yes , I find it kind of sad that he seems only to exist as Blake's friend. He is not really a fully fledged out character if you separate him from Blake. I feel like this is why so many fans can't stand him: He has some flaws like the stalking, those are extra obvious since there is so little else we can say about him.

The stalking is only really bad if you look at it through the lens of real world social standards in remnant you go for a walk in the countryside and most likely get shot by Bandits or Eaton by Grim do the same thing RIL you end up in the next town over thirsty and hungry but otherwise fine the fact that there's actually danger in the world of RWBY makes Son's actions a lot more reasonable.
Jan Schievink Good Point. If I was Sun I would probably also have followed her, I mean she seemed really troubled after what happens to Yang. However I would have made my presence known sooner. Like when she gets ready to buy a ticket for the boat. Because if he really cares about emotionally supporting her, he should have started really worrying at that point, she's leaving the continent for christs sake, that's a little bit different from taking a walk to calm your mind!. And than talk to her! I loved the Couch talk we got after Sun got hurt by Ilia, why couldn't they have that talk sooner?
Instead he seems to think that she will go on a superhero quest to kick Adam's ass. And he like wants to be her sidekick, but then...again not really...because he doesn't ask her. (I just don't get what his plan was here.) All in all it seems like he has this fantasy of him helping Blake kick ass. Which kind of reminds me of over the top fans (Have you seen the Incredibles? It's basically the plot of that.)and that is a little creepy.

He's bad at figuring out the motivations of others through implicit signals he doesn't know when he should be asking people about their motivations and he's bad at making his motivations clear to others this is true. Stopping Adam is important he's a terrorist that's inciting racially motivated violence the dumb part is where Sun assumed that was someone else's primary goal when it wasn't I don't really think he has any delusions of false heroism he's just really bad at communicating.

everything you said right there, I agree with you full heartedly, and I'll be honest, all adam was doing was setting a bad example for his own kind, he may think he's doing the right thing for the faunus, but he is not, he's only making things worse for the faunus because of his actions, and he's too blinded to see that, all he's been doing though out the series is throwing a tamper tantrum at the world for no reason whatsoever, he's a child in a grown up body who can't see beyond his own desires, I hope he gets killed off in volume 6, or so on, cause that mad bull has already caused enough trouble for the faunus.

There's a big difference between no reason and bad reasons furthermore killing three quarters of the human population and enslaving the rest would greatly benefit the Faunus it's only really wrong if you see humans and Faunus as equals. Adam isn't someone who lacks the mental capacity to know better he's someone who is either willfully ignorant of the fact other people have thoughts and feelings or simply doesn't care saying he's a child is a disservice to children he's an adult and a bigot.

I swear, if you people are still whining about not having a Blake v Adam fight moment, I'll tell you this:
Blake only came for the safety of haven, she clearly did not sign up to fight adam. If you guys say otherwise, then it's very pointless, so tell/reply me, WHY SHOULD THERE BE A BLAKE V ADAM FIGHT MOMENT?, beside from ''It would've been a great episode/moment'' or '' It'll make your day'', because these are going nowhere to self. If you're in Blake perspective, what would you do?
I saw what you did in your Breakdown in V5CH13, to me: NOT COOL. but you kinda redeemed it in the next in the next one EF, CRWBY knows RWBY than others like you and me discussing, predicting, expecting, suggesting, etc... it.

Well for the most part Blake has worked through a lot of the emotional trauma caused by Adam so it would have been good closure if Blake defeated Adam literally given the fact she's defeated him on a psychological level and Adam still being around might pull Focus away from some of the other villains in the cast who still have an air of Mystery but instead we might end up watching Blake fight Adam despite the fact there's no real emotional Stakes related to her doing that at this point.

I think Penny and her creator are kind of like the director and Tex, where Penny was originally a real girl who died and her father couldn’t live without her so he created a robotic version of her. This would explain why she calls him ‘father’ and would make it possible for her to comeback.

i really love the way blake finally stands up to adam, and your breakdowns are really interesting :))
Im not sure whether this is actualy from Ghiras POV or Suns in addition to Blake initially I thought it was from Suns but now it seems more like Ghira because Ghira seems like he *REALLY* wants change for the way the WF are seen to the humans and for all faunus as a whole. Whereas you haveSun who seems like he wasnts to help the faunus but because he hasnt really endured much pain and suffering and discrimination from being a faunus(as far as we know), it doesnt seem as important to him, and hes only really with Blake as a sort of guide and support

Why can't it be both it seems to fit Sun during the beginning of the song and expresses more of Ghira's views near the end.
Senshi, well, not necessarily, cos I first thought it was Sun, ony cos I assumed the first male part it could be that wasnt Adam, and I do shit Black Sun but that wasnt the reason for me thinking it was Sun's POV
But I do agree with the part about Sun not being invested in making the WF better and change the overall rep and image of the faunus to all humans, it is more of a Ghira thing cos hes the one who made it good at first, so he is the one who wants to turn it back to that after its corruption from people like Adam
