Hmmm... This version looks bad, but seems a lot more fun than its Wii U counterpart... I mean, this one feels a lot more like a Sonic game, the controls are a bit less clunky, the level design is better and longer which gives you more fun and is a bit more challenging. Unlike its Wii U counterpart, the 3DS version offers us a better Final Boss with more attacks and more difficulty especially on Lava Mountain Extra, where the Final Boss turns even more harder.

@@rafaelpereiragomes1735 No the reference wasn't the double jump, I was reference the Lightning form, which looks like that electric Mario capture that goes on cables to warp. (Or maybe Odyssey should be a Lost World reference since it's newer)
Yeah I totally agree with you. To me it’s not as bad as frozen factory. The first two acts for silent forest weren’t that bad for me aside from the stone wisp but the last one before the boss fight was terrible which is why I grinned for lives. I ran out of time and when I did I thought I was gonna be sent back to the very beginning of act 3 but no it did not instead it still sent me to the checkpoint. I almost broke my back during the boss fight with the gyroscope garbage.

Silent forest zone2and sky zone 3 is the most fun stages
at least in this version, you don't die if the owl catches you, it just makes zone 3 harder to navigate.
